Not a big fan, TBH. They're just going to be used to troll. We're already seeing them being used this way now.

It's definitely possible. Like "[Terrorism] Liberals proposing gendersomething!" (or the equivalent on the other side). But it might still help to filter.

By the way, for tags, has anyone suggested "mass shooting", "climate change", "terrorist attack", or "mass migration"?

"outrage porn"

Outrage porn R
Outrage porn L

Need a toe tag for the dump.

{META} would be good for "worst/best/ignore" poster type threads.

Outrage

So nothing on international relations? Nothing on tech/military? And what kind of thread would be ''opinion"?

Outside of @GhostZ06 threads we don't get a huge amount on military and tech. Not even on military conflicts at the moment, although "Military" might get added later if it becomes a common topic again.

Opinion is mostly for all the threads about opinion pieces in the media or comments made by celebrities, pundits, random tweets, youtubers or facebook posts etc

Having an 'economy' section but no Int'l relations seems myopic imo still. Either it's relating only to domestic economic issues, or a section 'International' would cover both trade disputes and international conflicts.

We also want to keep the tags short and simple. "International" is still under consideration, but there was concern it'd end up just being used for anything not in the US.
