I would have to say Erick Silva. He fought two tough veterans this year..
sure, he lost, but he is so young, 2018 will be a much better year.

But I don't see him on the list, so I have to choose Knuckles.
Then, Max.

Bobby Knuckles for me. Finishing Jacare and clearly beating Romero and stuffing all his TDs is about impressive as it gets.

some excellent candidates there

lol at the 11th photoshopped belt around his shoulder.

1. Max

2. Robert

3. DJ

Okay i hate his fights, but not having Woodley as one of the options doesn't make sense to me.

He defended against 2 #1 ranked contenders, no matter how boring the fights were.

For me..
1. Whittaker
2. Woodley
3. Namajunas
No Holloway because he beat the same fighter, once on short notice.

I’m torn between Whittaker and Rose.

I think I’m giving it to Rose though for dethroning a GOAT for the title.

Tough call. I went with Max, two very good performances against Aldo.

Whittaker was awesome too.
Yeah ultimately it went down to level of competition for me. Aldo x2 seemed tougher than jacare and romero or others. This was a tough call for me.

Have to give it to Rose. Whittaker deserves it as well but Rose beat the champ and her win was just so fucking satisfying.

Robert Whittaker for me. Taking out Jacare and Romero back to back was better than what the champ at the time was doing.

I really hope his injuries aren't as sever as whats being speculated.

Whittaker beat the 2 guys at MW everyone was scared to fight. He's got my vote.

Whittaker imo. His big year saved MW from being more of a mess than it is.

Saint Preux had a pretty good year. I like that he fought 4 times in 2017 and won 3 with only a split decision loss to Oezdemir. He also stepped up and fought de Lima at hw and won 2 performance of the nights plus the Von Preux

Conny had a pretty good year, and he's not the fighter of the year either
