Chael knew he was in for rape the moment he signed the bout agreement. He was shook by Fedor's AURA and blasted him so hard off the jump that he forcefully switched Chael into his auto-panic wrestler mode which ended up flooding his brain with cortisol, got stressed out and made wrong decisions which cost him the fight.

After getting reversed and hammer fisted, a then already concussed Sonnen switched from fight over to flight mode and just covered up because his brain told him to lock up. Survival mode.

hahaha Chael has a great poker face. This is actually a pretty good move by him.

On the MMA Hour just earlier today he said the GOAT HW in his mind are Fedor and Josh Barnett. He said if Cain Velasquez had just been a little more active....Cain would definitely be his number 1 GOAT HW of all time.

He gave Fedor a lot of respect. He said he just could not see Fedor's punches coming. He also admitted that after watching footage of the fight...his memory of the fight was wrong, indicating how badly hurt he was during the fight.
