I remember Corny talking about how they brought him in for a WCW(?) show 20+ years ago and saw him sans mask at the airport:
"He godammit motherfucker looked like a godammit motherfucker 60-year-old man! With the godammit motherfucker mask on, it didn't matter because he still had that body but godammit motherfucker!" As Mick Foley recounts in his first book, Mascaras was well past taking bumps at that time.

Anyone 'past taking bumps' needs to stay the fuck out of a wrestling ring.

This is the Hall Of Shame just for them.

If you induct someone, please include videos/pics to show how far over the hill they are.

Edit: Any inductees into the HOS must still be actively wrestling in 2017. They must also be unable to perform at a standard that would be considered acceptable by a sane and reasonable person with a basic understanding of what a half decent pro wrestling match looks like.

The first inductee is the guy who was actually the inspiration for the Hall Of Shame being created........I saw this video a few days ago and it made me feel legit pity for the guy.

I don't know about you, but I don't watch wrestling to feel sorry for the performers that way. I also highly doubt it is the way these once proud athletes would want to be remembered.

Inductee #1 is Nikolai Volkoff.

This guy was a beast in the 80s, but look at him now.





Why is he embarrassing himself like this for a few dollars? Where is his pride?

Luckily Funk only fight once every 2 years or so.

He better! That shit is legendary. I guess the ring of fire is too hard to transport to small shows though.... bummer. Physically he still looks pretty good too. He should get two long haired blonde kids from each town to walk out with him.
