The Iran deal decision: Tump withdraws the US.

True or false, Iran could develop missile technology under the “deal”?

When the “deal” expires, how long do you think it would take them to develop a nuke to put on that missile?

Why was Iran unwilling to extend the “deal”? It’s almost like they want nukes...

It would take more than a year to develop a nuke since they need a heavy water plant first. Plenty of time for the international community to react. Pretty basic shit outlined in the deal actually.

Why do you disregard that the deal is working as intended and Irans ability to make a nuke has been completely crippled?

98% reduction in fissile material
80% reduction in centrifuges leaving only older tech
Severely limiting centrifuge R&D
Heavy water reactor filled with concrete
Ongoing international inspections.

Trumptards shitting on the Iran deal but claiming that Trump (with 0 results) has denuked NK. If Trump had made the Iran deal you would be calling it one of the greatest diplomatic achievements of the 21st century. Trumptards are a strange bunch.

So you’re admitting in 2 years after the “deal” ends, they’d have a nuke, and the missile to deliver it.

The point you seem to ignore, is there wasn’t a real deal made. It was not a legally binding document. Trump is attempting to put pressure on them in order to make an actual deal. Even if he doesn’t, you end up in the same place, except under trump, they’ll be crippled economically.

The deal is binding internationally.
So who says the deal ends when the current one expires? You entirely missed one of the major points of the deal (not surprising).
Crippling them economically at the same time they are abiding by the deal makes no fucking sense and would be the surest way to make them tear up the deal. The dumbest move possible. So Trump will probably do that.

What part of it’s not an actual legally binding document don’t you get?

Um, who said the “deal” ends? The Iranians, because the international community has been trying to extend the deal and address some of its other problems.

Iran refused.

Hmm, it’s almost like they actually want nukes...

The deal is not legally binding in the US. The UN plan is as binding as anything. I think you are confusing the part where it is not legally binding for the US to lift sanctions.

But i´ll ask you the same question as I asked the guy flipping out about congressional approval. Who gives a shit as long as the eal is working? Wich it is.

Yeah it´s almost like Iran wanted to see how the current deal plays out before extending. Especially after all the rhetoric from the orange retard. Hmmm how strange.

Abso-fucking-lutely they would.

And they'll call him the greatest commander in chief if he starts a war with them. Shitmouth cultist assholes.

It only takes a few posts to make it quite clear that most of them are fucking clueless about the Iran deal.

The “deal” was certainly working, if by working you mean guaranteeing Iran has a nuke in a few more years.

Stupid and clueless.

Are you denying they would have been able to make a nuke shortly after the deal ended? One that they could put on top of the missile the “deal” fails to prevent.

You claim early the international community would have time to address it. Really? Is Iran gonna stop because they get a strongly worded letter from the U.N.?

Nice name calling trying to deflect from the fact Obama virtually guaranteed Iran is a nuclear power.

If iran is violating and doing missiles and funding terror which the 2nd part is true then the US is just acting preemptively. But this tearing up the deal does hurt US credibility no doubt.

The EU and China and Russia will gain diplomatically from this

You really dont understand the Iran deal at all.
So easy to spot.

If funding terror is so bad, the US should probably cut ties with S.A pronto. At least Iran only sponsors locally.

The deal is by no means perfect. But it is having the desired effect so far. Irans nuclear capabilities are crippled. The underlying long term goals, well, that remains to be seen.

Yet, you won’t address my specific question, because you know the “deal” is extremely flawed.

No reason to keep gong back and forth with someone who has no interest in the deal or learning about it. It´s just bad because your orange daddy said so.

Game on....

EU to block Trump’s Iran sanctions by activating old law
Brussels has decided to launch the so-called blocking statute, Jean-Claude Juncker says.

The European Commission will on Friday launch a trade defense law in response to U.S. economic sanctions against Iran in a bid to keep the nuclear accord with Tehran alive, Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said Thursday.

Juncker told reporters in Sofia that EU leaders decided Wednesday night to activate the so-called blocking statute, which bans European companies from complying with the U.S. sanctions against Iran.

“We have the duty, the Commission and the European Union, to protect our European businesses,” said Juncker, adding: “We must act now and we will act now. That’s why we are launching the process to use the 1996 ‘blocking statute’ to neutralize the extraterritorial effects of U.S. sanctions on European companies … We will do that tomorrow morning at 10:30.”

The blocking statute would forbid EU companies, under threat of punishment, to cancel business ties with Iran because of the U.S. sanctions. To do that, will need to update the law to include Donald Trump’s sanctions, a process that could take up to two months, depending on how fast the European parliament and Council vote on the update. EU countries need to approve the text by a qualified majority, meaning skeptics like Germany alone would not be able to veto the law.

Juncker also said that leaders had decided “to allow the European Investment Bank to facilitate European companies’ investment in Iran.” This means that the investment bank could potentially issue loans for companies that might no longer be covered by European banks, which are expected to withdraw their operations from Iran out of fear of consequences for their business with the United States.
