Or he was never that good to begin with. Old Hopkins. Passed it Pascal. Where were his championship wins?

He was no Archie Moore, but he was routinely considered as the best LHW and a p4p boxer for years. Maybe a bit overrated at some point, arguably.

Dam low blows again and the ref did nothing yet again, just like against Andre Ward, LOL another legit loss yet again.

Kovalev forgot about getting stopped against Ward and got caught open and couldn't recover from some solid power punches.

Rematch time yet again and maybe another loss, but he can beat this guy Alvarez.

That Alvarez jab had some serious nice pop to it and setup that nice right hand and that was a rap.

Kovalev is actually very good and was giving Ward trouble boxing him and his power is legit, but Ward broke him and he saw a loss when he got rocked and hurt badly, fighting Alvarez.

Also that Alvarez power jab bothered Kovalev and when he couldn't hurt Alvarez with solid right hands, his face showed serious concern about losing, you could see it when Alvarez hit him with a nice power jab and his head poped back and Kovalev hit him flush and Alvarez fought back and didn't wobble, or seem bothered.

Missed this live, enjoyed the replay. Glad Kovalev got KO'd. Guy seems like a cockhead.

This’s better for the division tbh. Get shit moving

Glad I was watching to see that KO, Alvarez definitely gave us a pleasant surprise, there. Props to those who called it. Kov doesn't suck by any means, so that was a new face emerging in the boxing picture for sure. Let's see Alvarez vs Stevenson next.

I'm surprised to see some people poo-pooing Bivol's performance. Chilemba isn't god tier, but he's a good fighter, and Bivol beat him up. TBH I think Bivol is the goods. We'll see once he steps up vs Beterbiev/Stevenson/Alvarez/Gvozdyk, but, killer instinct or not, Bivol is technically ahead of the rest IMO. Should they do a WBSS at LHW (which seems to be what Kalle is hinting), he should come out on top.

He is from one of the Stan’s not Russia proper
Kyrgyzstan. His dad is ethnically Moldovan/Romanian and mom is ethnically Korean. Lot of that in the ex-USSR states.
