Friday was front squats 2x5xbar, 2x5x40, 2x5x50, 1x5x60

Back felt great afterwards but hurt after about an hour
 
Were you front squatting because of the back injury? I know it goes against some conventional wisdom, but I actually find front squatting harder on the back than back squatting. It's because while I'm more upright, I'm not as stable or tight, and for me being stable and tight is more important than being upright in terms of how my back feels.

I'm not saying you should be back squatting instead, just that I wouldn't assume that front squats would necessarily be better after an injury.
 
I am feeling the urge again
As I'm now really skinny and weak
And right next to a proper club

My issue is two fold, money is a bit tight and $880 for the year is a bit pricy compared to the last place. The bigger issue seems to be you can only join for 12 month blocks... I've never had 12 months of injury free lifting. If that price was in months I wouldn't mind so much, I could cancel if I once again hurt myself

Squats, bench, c&j at low weights on Wednesday. Pretty sore next day, some Bball the day after. Think I will get back into it. Positive life change now I am unemployed again
