No one could rank Deontay Wilder above Tyson Fury with a straight face.
I think they had Wilder at #2 prior to the fight, and since it was a draw, everyone stays the same.Well Boxrec have Wilder at #2 even after the vast majority of people think that Tyson won their fight. So I'd say the Ring have it right and Boxrec system doesn't account for occasions like this where someone was robbed of victory that they clearly deserved.
You got to go by here and now though. Tyson although he is now godly has to be ranked as other competitors are ranked. I do not rate Deontay now and think in the grand scheme of things he is behind Tyson and AJ, but I think is it even fair to rank fury ahead of whyte? I'd say it was as of recent outings..No one could rank Deontay Wilder above Tyson Fury with a straight face.
That's where I say the boxrec system falls down. It just takes the result at face value even if nearly everyone thinks it was the wrong decision.I think they had Wilder at #2 prior to the fight, and since it was a draw, everyone stays the same.
