International Theresa May faces vote of confidence on her leadership

destroying their economy for decades is a small price to pay for..... ermm...... whatever it is he thinks will happen good after a hard brexit

A massive increase in outside EU immigration as the euros dry up?

Okay. That fails the condition of retaining standard of living though.

I'm asking you to back up your words with a coherent plan.

Typical liberal mentality.

Will always pick what's easy over what's right.

Sounds like you don't understand how global trade works.

The UK can very simply just walk away with a no deal Brexit. But everyone who actually cares about the British people and has more than a bit of understanding about trade cross borders understands just how insane that would be.

A no-deal Brexit would mean that all trade with EU nations would literally cease mid-transaction. Neither materials nor finished products could cross borders, money couldn't enter or leave the country. The UK is a great country with great people but it's deeply dependent on international trade to meet it's basic needs.

No matter what people wanted to believe, they can't afford a no-deal Brexit it would destroy their country's economy for decades.

Oh no! A new, massive and captive market for US and Canadian goods and materials! That would be awful!

Is the liberal side the christian side, or the side who chose Donald Trump? Odd. Otherwise, oh, the irony.

Kind of like how conservatives will always choose the guy who fucks cousins.

no one else wanted to take responsibility for brexit - she was the only one and tried to go thru with it

all of the men who cooked brexit up, resigned from their position:
Brexit Secretary David Davis and Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson resign
Nigel Farage announced his resignation as leader of UKIP
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn lost a vote of confidence among his parliamentary party
Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab, his Cabinet colleague Esther McVey and several junior ministers resigned their posts

so if anyone, blame politicians that started this mess in the first place and didnt/couldnt go thru with it

of course theresa may has problems trying to push brexit, considering most people who voted for brexit either changed their mind or dont know how they would vote now - couple that with lack of political support and you've got a shit show

UK obviously isnt ready to leave EU and everyone underestimated how huge of an undertaking that would be and all of the consequences involved

It's absolutely insane how Boris Johnson has been allowed to continue to be a voice in UK politics after that slimy cunt tucked his dick and ran away when Brexit was initiated.

It was clear, just like in the case of the Obamacare repeal here in the US, that the politicians championing Brexit had no earthly plan for what they would do if it was successful. The disinformation campaign for it was purely to fundraise and grandstand.

This fucker has more lives than a cat

On goes the shit show I guess

...what?

You are operating on the assumption leaving the EU is right but that's not something we agree on.

For a country making such a massive decision, retaining sovereignty and standard of living are paramount in my view.

Explain how leaving the EU would result in a loss of sovereignty.

Actually, he got shafted by Michael Gove at the last minute, then realised he had no chance.

Seriously though, you limey twits understand if the krauts in the EU give you shit, the USA and Canada will come sort them out for you again, right?

Like we're gonna let England starve because Germany said so. Germany can suck a dick. For the third time.

Says who?

The transition agreement. You know, the only conceivable and viable brexit plan that has any hope of passing.

Otherwise you're looking at a hard brexit which will cause economic disaster.

Again, this chaos was entirely predictable from the start.

If he got stitched up by Michael fucking Give then it's quite clear that he isn't PM material.

You just walk away and let America and Canada take care of everything. Half the EU are lucky we even let them be countries at this point.

As soon as anything gets remotely complex I've noticed that brexiteers and trumpers juat throw out flippant and sometimes downright retarded ideas, probably because theres no actual attempt at cohesive thinking or any kind of intellectual support behind their ideas.

You honestly believe the USA and Canada would sit back and watch England starve?

You realize the US gives Israel 3.3B annually right?

The UK population is only 66M.

The UK has friends.

No one can avoid a stab in the back, sometimes dogs are disloyal, even if you're a good judge of character.

But BJ isn't PM material, you're quite right.

There's a reason you are not in charge of anything remotely complex with ideas so devoid of substance.
