It’s her call. She got paid. I don’t think her contract was not renewed because of not taking the fight. So it’s pretty hard to say it was a mistake on her part.

But Leslie Smith was right to reject the fight. 1.8 lbs. may not seem like much, but fighters who miss weight seem to have an advantage of some sort. Out of the last 10 UFC fighters who came in overweight, nine went on to win their respective bouts.

it a no brainer she got paid 64k to not fight and now im sure she sign with bellator and can have more freedom to make money that she couldn't in ufc.
