Tom Price Gone

I don't get why the pitchforks are out for Price but not for Trump over all of the excessive golfing and travel to his properties, which he claimed that he wouldn't do on the campaign trail because he's such a fucking workaholic.

His family exhausted the annual allocated Secret Service budget during August, and his organization essentially defrauded the government by trying overcharge the Secret Service on unit leases when they were forced to create a command post in Trump Tower NYC to protect his wife and son.

The last bit is the worst part of it. Trump is benefitting directly from government payments to his business, which he refused to divest himself from.

If Trump isn't going to take the hit for any of that stuff, I don't understand why Price has to resign. All of the norms for behavior in office have been thrown out in this administration anyway, so why bother pretending?

Seriously, dude is on a golf trip to one of his properties right now while there's a fucking cholera outbreak in Puerto Rico due lack of clean water.

So, you're with uninformed, or disingenuous.

The SS budget was an issue before Trump. Now that we have that out of the way.

How is Trump golfing or not golfing going to effect the water supply in PR?

Or is it you just like to hear yourself bitch?

No, let's back that up. It was an "issue" before now, but it's not that cut-and-dried.

The Republicans cut the Agency's budget down progressively year-over-year after they took control of the House in 2010.

It's true that an emergency funding bill had to be passed last year so that the Agency could continue paying its employees.

However, we need this thing called "context" to understand the SS's current funding issues.

There was a general election campaign last year during which the Secret Service had to provide protection to the nominees of both major parties and their families while they were travelling non-stop all over the country to campaign in addition to standard protection details for the incumbent POTUS and vice-POTUS.

The Trump administration managed to blow through the statutory cap this year all by its lonesome.

How is Trump golfing or not golfing going to effect the water supply in PR?

How is it appropriate for the POTUS to be at leisure when there's a major humanitarian crisis affecting millions of American citizens underway?

Or is it you just like to hear yourself bitch?

At least I'm bitching about substantive shit and not the color of the POTUS's suit.

Let's be fair, they criticize Trump for ketchup on a steak.

Which I like if there's not a good steak sauce. I also like mustard and ketchup on a burger, AND, that suit is pretty baller.

Yes, the republicans were just as embarrassing under Obama, as liberals are today.

This is a blatant deflection.

How hard is it for you people to simply say something akin to "It is extremely unethical for the president to use taxpayer funds in order to personally enrich himself through his private businesses." Is that so absurdly fucking hard? Goddamn.

Maybe if the fucker focused on his job, and not golf, ratings, or his latest flavor of the week disck measuring contest with some retard on twitter, he could appoint people into leadership positions in the fucking NOAA and FEMA. God forbid he does this BEFORE hurricane season.

I honestly have little concern about his enrichment. His family runs an actual business. If the government needs the services of this business, they have to pay for it.

This is entirely different than the Clinton's for instance, who profited off influence buying donations to their sham charity.

The idea that a man who builds an empire, would have to give it away to be president, is absurd.

Oh, and Trump donates his paycheck. Let me know when any of the democrats, or republicans donate theirs.

What a sacrifice, donating 400,000 when giving your business millions. So patriotic. I cannot believe you can defend this. Not only is it extremely unethical, and the type of abuse our government was founded to ward off, it sets an extremely dangerous precedent for future government officials. Already 1 senior staff member has had to resign for this type of abuse of taxpayer funds.

I think the Clinton foundation is an extremely corrupt organization. However, for you to pretend the Clinton Foundation is merely a money laundering scheme is absurd and childish. What are the chances the taxpayer funds from Mar A Lago will raise over 300 million for disease and vaccine research, or provide child support to over 100 million people, or do massive work helping combat diseases in tropical zones?

Be serious, because in the last two posts, you have deflected the critique of this abuse with Puerto Rico, and the Clintons......

Could you honestly look another person in the eye and say that you would think this behavior was ok if Barack Obama performed it?

How much did the Clinton's take in for Haiti?

How much did they pay out?

Trumps handling of PR is just fine, so says some of their most prominent leaders.

You forgot the other folks he fired.

Lol at you Trumpleforeskins, that's the best you got, and is all you got.{<jordan}

Yeah Trump won last year, and it has been a dumpster fire ever since, that's the point. Now STFU and put your head back in the sand where it belongs.

They raised 30 million for Haiti, despite Gary Cohn and Mike Pence' debunked lies. Is the Mar A Lago raising funds for PR?

Trump is saying it's going great, on his fucking golf course, while even the general in charge says they have nowhere near adequate troop levels. Trump had time to prepare for this, and did nothing, much less even present names to be confirmed for the NOAA and FEMA. He is bitching and insulting Puerto Rico on twitter.

President Obama had zero warning of the quake in Haiti. Within a couple days we have 8000 boots on the ground, and over 20,000 in less than 3 weeks.Obama was praised by everyone but the Republicans, who as always, bitched and moaned.

These are the tangible results of incompetency. They are looking at months of rebuilding just to restore power and water, while critical supplies sit in storage containers because the supply line has broken down, with no gas to fuel the vehicles to ship the supplies. The president is golfing and tweeting.

Will you defend anything?

How's your 401k doing?
How's illegal immigration?
Notice that silence from the Middle East?
See that fat NK dictator sweating?

Thank President Trump.

He's the mean dad that enforces the rules. You're the whiny teenage adults look at and shake their head.

There are currently 3 recovery efforts going on.

One of those is off the mainland, in a place with crippled infrastructure, incompetent/crooked leadership, and a myriad of other issues.

Save your crocodile tears. You'll need them for next weeks outrage porn.

That's a haughty claim. It's astounding to me that you think it ok for a president to not staff key positions in disaster relief agencies, not prepare for the hurricane season, not deploy nearly enough troops by his own general's admission despite having tons of time to prepare, and is insulting the victims, this is all acceptable and dignifying.

If heard this type of cult minded rationalization from the Clintons since I was 5 years old.

Texas and Florida don't have crumbling infrastructure and incompetence/corruption in their leadership.

PR does. Furthermore they're an island.

This is the main difference in the recovery efforts.

I would like you to prove that their leadership is corrupt in this case. Furthermore, since the country has no gas to move supply lines, and the general in charge of the US relief effort says only the military has the capability to move supplies at this point, prove they are the main impediment to adequate relief. After that, prove how the Trump administration, by not preparing for disaster relief in any fashion months before the hurricanes does not carry blame.

First, the administration was very well prepared. They're dealing with 3 disaster relief efforts simultaneously. The people are on the ground with the supplies.

The incompetence is in the leadership, both before and after the event. If you let your infrastructure crumble, there are consequences. Furthermore, she is unable to organize the relief efforts on her end.

The corruption comes in at least two forms. The trucking union there is not cooperating with relief efforts. Second, they just want FEMA to hand over the money with no accountability. Due to their past history, they're not going to just hand over money with no accountability.

Again, here is the general in charge of the relief effort saying they have nowhere near enough supplies or soldiers.

So well prepared.

Provide proof of "them" wanting FEMA money with no accountability.

Read it today, forget where. I'm not your Google.

10,000 boots on the ground with food water etc, is well prepared.

You know who disagrees with your assessment? The General in charge of the relief effort.............
