Trump ends 1st year with lowest approval rating EVER.

Which one is his worst accomplishment
Cutting un funding
Cutting Palestine
Cutting Pakistan
Tax breaks for everyone
Getting Korea to talk to one another
Getting out of the Paris garbage
Handling Florida and Texas perfectly back to back
Getting stuff to Puerto Rico quickly
Cutting unemployment
Record stock market

Let’s face it, you just don’t like the tweets
That’s fine. They suck and his personality sucks.

That is only half of it. Plenty of other good shit he has done too.

Killed the TPP
Appointed a young staunch constitutionalist to the supreme court.
Decimated ISIS
Huge turn around on the deficit
5 year lobbying ban
immigration reform

Trump is godtier. So much more to do but holy fuck, a politician that actually follows through on what they campaign on is a breath of fresh air.

how can Americans hate what they don't understand? maybe it's because of the media that Americans hate him? can't that be a possibility?

its a bad business model for the news media to tell people shit they dont want to hear. your average person, anyway. so instead, they tell people what they do want to hear. we know this.

trump says shit that makes people hate him. its not rocket science. he called a few countries shitholes this week. he pushed another world leader on camera. he pretends to be christian (see my sig). when challenging his opposition, he basically ONLY uses strawmen arguments. he peddles conspiracy theories over scientific consensus. he got stone cold stunner'd in the WWE.

most people dont like those things. some media conspiracy to brainwash everyone and take him down is not needed.

I'm conflicted on Trump.

On one hand I hate his lack of impulse control and narcissism. I also dislike how much influence corporate America has in this administration, and the nepotism in the White House. His energy policy is destructive to the environment. He's pissing off countries left, right and center. We're going to have to pay for all of these down the road.

On the other hand, I got a lot riding on stocks, and last year was spectacular in terms of growth. Any significant changes to the political scene could mean a shift in economic momentum. I also don't mind his stance on immigration (although Arab Gulf States should be on the ban list).

Well the election fully demonstrated the fallacy of taking polls as gospel.

Weather they support my opinion or not I won't take polling numbers as fact. Jordan Peterson had a bit discussing polls and how they're often very biased.

I actually feel like he's done quite a bit this year, not in agreement with all of it or his tweets but I prefer his approach over Obama on a general level thus far.

You'll notice the majority of criticisms thrown his way are arguing the ethics of his character. I don't subscribe to all of his views (especially on Israel), but I'll admit he's been much better than I initially thought.

All the data suggests he's doing a solid to excellent job. But his mean tweets are so upsetting to so many and that conversation with Billy Bush 12 years ago has still got so many triggered - feminazis, white knights and socialists.

His approval ratings will continue to be low. Then when it's vote time, people will start checking their payslips and bank balances and he'll be re-elected.

Private company
Government owns stock in he company
70 percent government owned , completely different model , it's a hard thing to verify but I suspect their regulations and oversight are much stricter than I'm the US

so you're fine with off shore drilling here as long as it has better regulations (though you don't know what that means)

polls from not so long ago: clinton is leading by 90 points

god tier racist but that actually makes him god tier in his supporters eyes. The more he lies, the more vulgar, the more porn stars and the more racist he is makes you guys like him more. Trump loves the poorly educated and loves the racist

It is hilarious how you guys defend him like he’s your own brother and attack him like he fucked your sister.

I do see the latter being likely for some of you guys though. Who here has a sister that likes to get peed on?

well i'd be pissed if my sister was underaged but if she's of legal age not much you can do...

if you like to get peed on you like to get peed on... whom am I to tell someone not to enjoy something that doesn't affect much besides changing sheets more often. its better/safer than a heroine or cocaine addiction that's for sure...

That's not what i said

Going all the way back to the Exxon Valdez it's been very clear that appropriate precautions are not taken in too many instances in regards to oil extraction and transportation , I have little confidence that here North America that we have sufficient safeguards in place, they refuse to use double Hull tankers because they cost too much but they also refuse to guarantee they'll pay for cleanup if there's a spill, In Norway the people are receiving a greater benefit from the extraction of their resource therefore if there is a spill at least the people who benefited will pay for the cleanup.

Not against oil extraction but you have to consider risk-reward analysis depending on where it is and the people of Norway receive a greater reward so in my mind it's a different equation.

So you’re for it but not for he environmental reasons

So you’re for it but not for he environmental reasons
it depends on the particular environment/location and the risk reward equation based off of that.

So where is it bad to do it in the us
I'm not a fan of drilling in Anwar and I believe that tankers on the west coast should be double hulled, the rocky coast and cold water make spills far more damaging and hard to clean up than warmer waters

off the top of my head

More importantly, someone who voted to invade Iraq and voted to continually fund the war there until they were no longer in Congress isn't POTUS.
