Anaconda vs Panther

Close fight but i take the Anaconda,hes one guy who def up'd his game and itll be hard to get him off once he has that grip.

Ill call early 1st round sub,Woodley going to slip or get way too agressive and pay for it. @emog2

Who do you have in this fight guys
@Hardkore @mohawkblood420 @helax @NinjaNiK @Flemmy Stardust
I think Woodley will win but I will go with Maia and hope Woodley gets subbed

Lmao .. I favor Woodley and bet on him, although Maia is a live dog imo, so Woodley will have to take him out within 3 rounds. Maia is relentless and can wear anyone down with his persistent take down style. The key for Woodley will be to punish Maia badly for every attempt, at least hurt him, if not straight out KO him coming in.

Woodley's early speed and explosiveness is his edge, but he has to clear distance immediately after stuffing a TD. That is how Masvidal eventually got caught, he would stuff the initial TD, but stayed too close in Maia's reach/range right after and got a ankle/leg grabbed.

Looking forward to this fight ...

I have a feeling Woodley learned from the Masvidal fight
I think Woodley will hurt Maia when he will come for the takedowns and in the clinches too
You need to fight Maia with a sense of urgency to hurt him every chance you have
I think Woodley will start more offensive than usual and make Maia bleed and eventually win with a tko or that overhand right is a perfect tool to land on a lenghty slow bad striker
I hope I am wrong I realy want Maia to win

I would imagine this is true, and if for some reason it isn't, Woodley is a taller order to take down and keep hold of than Masvidal as it is. Andre Galvao is a super high level pure grapple, and Woodley finished him by punishing him on his take down attempts. Long time ago, I know. But still...

Woodley has all the tools to blow Maia out of the water in this fight. Only thing I'm worried about is his tendency to be excessively patient, hang out with his back to the cage, and give up rounds for inactivity.

Still going with Woodley though.
