Im still learning this stuff but take it from someone who’s up $4k this year and $2k last year. Im not gonna say obvious cliche things that you can find on Google like bankroll management.
1. Dont listen to people on Youtube, they are all losing bettors, Third party tracking sites mean nothing. Sharps dont exist on the internet. If someone is selling picks, they are losing gamblers. Period.
2. Don’t bet on who the UFC wants to win.
Instead, wager on who the sportsbooks want to win. UFC business model has changed. They don’t care about building stars. In fact, they would rather set you up to lose to pay you less.
3. Always withdraw your balance after an event. Never keep it in the bankroll. Your bank is more trusted than these sportsbooks. Trust me, they will make up BS like you abused bonus codes. It happened to me with betmgm which is why I don’t use them anymore
4. Be careful betting fighters who are on lower contracts. These contracts are barely enough to live on. These fighters are prize fighters, not legacy fighters. If an NBA player on millions is willing to shave points, you best believe these fighters will do what gets them paid.
5. Sports betting became mainstream after it got legalized. Everyone does it now. The average person does parlays, and some of these parlays are worth actual lottery tickets. Parlay busters are more common than ever. Stay away from parlays and betting big favorites. Despite what internet tells you, the sportsbooks do in fact have a preference for a winner. It’s not just about taking everyone’s bets and “balancing” both sides so they make profit regardless of the outcome. That’s what they want you to believe. This week for example, the sportsbooks are BEGGING YOU to bet Gorimbo at -140. Always remember, the sharps are moving the lines, not the public.
So all I got from this is we should only listen to the amazing sherdog cappers?
