Just look at all the tools that are on Ngannous disposal at the UFC's Perf Inst,
when you see those clips of him training there ...it seems that UFC is investing
a lot of money in Nganou, trying to make some superfighter with the help of the institute .

Do you think Stipe's training methods and infrastructure he has are enough to keep up
with institute fighter or infact anyone who can prepare at the institute has some kind of advantage
against a fighter who is praparing on his own.

Dude that institute is available to ALL ufc fighters free of charge. Stipe just chooses not to use it. It’s hardly some big ufc set up/ conspiracy. This is common knowledge

If you are good you are good

Do they have any notable coaches at the Institute, or is it just like some huge ultimate gym for the fighters.

Pretty sure you're supposed to bring your own coaches but with Francis living there it may be different for him

Stipe isn't exactly preparing on his own. There's some 22 fighters in the Strong Style stable (so his boxing coach said to Robin Black), though I don't know if they're all MMA or some of the boxers are counted among that number. It's a big gym with a lot of different programs going on, so a lot of coaches to draw on too. It's just that they currently have no other fighter in the UFC besides Jessica Eye, whose fight IQ is too potato to really better herself IMO.

Strong Style will never be a super gym. It's isn't hard to think of moving to Florida or California or even Albuquerque to further your fighting career, but there ain't too many who'd contemplate relocating to Cleveland so they're mostly stuck with whatever the surrounding environs can provide for fodder. And Stipe's success is the first high profile one; anybody attracted to Strong Style by that is still going to be at fairly low level, especially since in Ohio you have to have 5 amateur fights before you go pro (unless you're CM Punk).

Being at Strong Style works with Stipe's personality best though. He doesn't have a wandering ronin soul. He needs loyalty and friends and a sense of home base. Whatever technical advantage might be gained training elsewhere, even the most high tech, is going to pale in comparison to what trust in his long time coaches can do for his mentality. He thrives where he is and he wants to always improve—and the people at Strong Style are devoted to him and will do their darndest to make that happen.

Looks like he works with Dewey Cooper alot. But he is using their strength coach from the looks of it

they dont have any mma, bjj or striking coaches etc.

they only have strength and conditioning, and then dieticians, technical guys etc

they deliberately dont have dedicated mma coaches so that people living nearby dont get an unfair advantage.

but you can take your own coaches and use the facilities, like the 360 camera shit they have in teh octagon etc.

They have massage therapists and chiropractors?!

wow so advanced

Love Rocky 4, but that is some of the most backwards Hollywood shit ever produced. The Russians have all the technology and the American is the one working out in the snow...?

True, but after hearing about the doping in Sochi, a state run program like that in Rocky IV wouldn’t surprise me

what is Nagannu's punch at? Is it over 9000

100% this
The notion UFC is doing it for Francis is absurd
He is smart to take advantage of it
I get why Stipe isn't, but there is zero conspiracy
