Waiting for both Mokhnatkin and Erokhin to move to the UFC at 205. Being a 220-225 heavyweight eventually catches up with you.

Sua Tuani had a massive KO this weekend to win the CageSport HW Title. He's now 3-1 as a pro and back to winning after losing to Emellio Trevino at Bellator 205 in September. He's already 38 so he can't really be called a prospect but he'll be a good matchup for other Heavyweights/LHW coming up in the PNW.

  • Arunas Andriuskevicus vs. James Mulheron
Bellator Europe 1 feb. 9

Chase Sherman 11-6 vs. Frank Tate 6-5
Mindaugas Gerve 3-2 vs. Rob Beech 4-2
Ismail Sagov 3-1 vs. Adlan Ibragimov 2-0
Daniyal Elbaev 7-2 vs. Murat Gugov 4-1
Michael Quintero 4-1 vs. Jack May 10-5

ibragimov seems interesting, straight wrestling prospect

I'm picking Gugov to win the BYE tournament, he brings good striking, has legit power and is very fast for heavyweight

Quarterfinals (second stage) was today.

Gugov in my opinion is the favorite to win it all. Small to heavyweight, but very fast, strong and well rounded. He's 28 years old. His only loss came 6 years ago in his MMA debut.
Semi finals happened today, results:

Ibragimov vs. Sagov was competitive, while Gugov run through Elbaev submitting the later with an north-south choke in 1 minute.
My initial pick stands. Gugov is a prospect to watch for.

Anatoly Malykhin 2-0 vs. Baga Agaev 28-20
Josh Copeland 18-5-1 vs. Philipe Lins 13-3
Gabrielle Garcia 5-0 vs. Barbara Nepomuceno 0-0 (W226)

Josh Parisian (7-2) will make his first post TUF appearance against Brett Martin (4-1) for Lights Out Championship on February 16th in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They'll be fighting for their inaugural Heavyweight Title. This is about as good as any fight for both of these fighters. Parisian wasn't given another fight, but still has pretty high stock after his Contender Series win over Greg Rebello. Martin is an upcoming Heavyweight that has shown solid wrestling but his gas tank and overall game just isn't there yet (or at least shown in his loss to Leroy Johnson). However, he is only 24 so he still can make the improvements. He most recently won the TWC Heavyweight Title against Ryan Pokryfky who has a win over Parisian so he's had some redemption since the Johnson fight. If Parisian gets the nod, I could see UFC giving him a shot. If Martin gets the nod, I could see him given the LFA treatment (or maybe a 2019 Contender Series spot)

these are a few guys to keep an eye on

Parisian vs Martin's a decent fight, Josh's stock took a hit with his washout on TUF though. He'll need about 3 more wins for me, to get the call.

since Dmitry Sosnovskiy is out of his fight with Junior Albini on UFC Fortaleza, Jairzinho would make a good replacement
