Honestly I think this isn't social justice it's extreme right wing operatives coaching schills and loonies into acting retarded while claiming to be acting for social justice.

Putin has a vested interest in making sure that you think social justice is crap like this and the viral anti manspreading video that the Russian government staged and paid for.

Seems your head has been buried in the sand. There's already been attempts to sneak into legislation (Canada Bill 89, which passed in its province) the potential to seize your children if you do not validate their gender expression. They're pushing puberty blockers and reassignment surgery, which are irreversible alterations (that, mark my words, will be viewed in retrospect in the same vein as lobotomies).

But yea, keep downplaying this stuff as though it's not an issue. Like I said, it sure does make you look like a tough guy, and all of us who actually care about the children its hurting, just melodramatic pansies.

There's an element of truth to this, but I don't buy into your conspiracy theory of right-wing operatives and denial that this is mostly coming from the regressive left.

I don't see these things as mutually exclusive. I tend to have a more nuanced view of things and am less inclined to jump to one extreme or another or buy into conspiracy theories without evidence.

They're not mutually exclusive but the thing you should be aware of is that in this era of perceived increased outrage.............. a great deal of the outrage is literally fake.

Fake twitter bots, fake facebook bots liking things or bashing things, etc.


And seriously read the evidence I provided. The thinkprogress piece goes into the anatomy of how that viral video spread and what evidence has come up that it was staged entirely.

I understand this all goes on to some extent. But it's primarily coming from the universities, from the critical theorists and postmodernists and it's been flourishing at the universities for years and is spilling out into the media and government. The generation that has been indoctrinated and acculturated into this belief system is coming into power more and more. Of course the Russians are noticing this and exploiting it for their aims, no doubt. But let there be no doubt where it came from.
