*****This is a Q&A for UFC Bantamweight, Francisco Rivera! He will answer your questions via video some time later this week. So ask away & keep it respectful & clean otherwise dubs or bans will be handed out.*****

Francisco Rivera is a Bantamweight in the UFC & will be facing Erik Perez in his next fight at UFC 201 July 30th from Atlanta, GA.

Francisco holds a 11-6 MMA record with notable wins over the likes of Alex Caceres & George Roop. He had FotY caliber fight with John Lineker and his last fight was a controversial decision loss in England to Brad Pickett. In his next fight with Erik Perez, he's looking to get back on track with a win against another surging Mexican BW in Erik Perez.

What is your walk around weight approximately and how does the weight cutting process usually go?

IMO u could have beat Lineker if u continued with ur counterstriking. I think u have one of the best counterstriking skillsets and defense out of the lower weights but u chose to brawl with Lineker. Even tho u hit him a lot Lineker has insane power and chin, why did u choose to have a firefight and hooking war with one of the best hook specialists in MMA? Were u hunting for FOTN?

You should have got the win over Pickett, man! Do you think you were robbed in that one?

Who is the hardest puncher you've ever faced?
Strongest grappler?
Who is the hottest ring girl?

Glad to see such a great/exciting fighter taking some time with the fans.

Cisco, you have quite an exciting style, always bringing it and looking for a slugfest. However this approach makes fighters more vulnerable and you can end up on the bad side of a devastating KO or a sub. Do you intend to keep on fighting in a similar way to remain a fan friendly fighter or maybe taking a more gameplanning oriented path to build a winning streak and get a titleshot?

What's up Francisco, been following you since your TKO win against Figueroa and damn it's been fun watching you fight!

You've fought some absolute killers during your career like Urijah and Lineker, but my question would be, what is your dream fight?

Hey Francisco, thanks for doing this Q and A, your fights are awesome.

I just wanted to know what are some things you've learned through out your MMA career , that you wish you would have known when you were starting? Any wisdom youd like to impart on up and coming fighters? One last thing, whos a bigger hood legend, the paletero, or the elotero? Thanks, I'll be watching you fight on that 201 card, good luck.

What are your overall thoughts on the Urijah Faber fight? Most thought you were dominating the fight leading up to the eye gouge. I think a rematch after you beat Perez and he loses to Cruz would make sense sooner rather than later.

Do you think the UFC should merge the bantamweight and flyweight divisions?

Big fan, you always bring it win or lose.

How much of a temptation is it to start brawling once you get tagged good by an opponent?

In my opinion your UFC record should be alot better between the ref mistakes, questionable judging, and a silly NC for an over the counter supplement. I'm sure you have years of fight left in your career, what's currently driving you more as far as motivation. One day clinching a title shot or continue building up a resume of fan pleasing fights and KOs?

Sup bruva, your win against Roop, how did it feel to win against a very tall opponent? What would you say was your most effective weapon against Roop ?

What do you do for fun when you're not training?

Also, have you watched or been to any Tachi Palace Fights lately?

What is your honest opinion on weight cutting? Would you rather be in a world where all fighters fought at their actual weight?

How did you get your start in MMA and who are your favourite fighters?

Good luck with your coming fights. This is a weird question regarding the recent IV ban.

I'm really curious how usada would know if one took a 50ml IV vs a 500ml IV In the dead of the night with no one else around.

Or do they assign a usada agent to each fighter to monitor the fighter leading up to the fight?

And when people say an IV is used to mask other substances, does it mask by Diluting, or do they IV drip other substances in to the body via IV, or does every IV add a signature chemical into the. Looks stream that would show up, alerting usada that the individual took al IV?

Being an active fighter in the premier MMA organization in the world, are you being able to support yourself fully from your UFC job ? Moreover, do you regret picking up MMA as a career ?

Who would be your dream opponent? you can pick any fighter in history in your weight class.

any hobbies? movies? tv shows?

you're a great fighter to watch.
