As I was telling Jimmy, those knees actually did hurt, which was why I tried to move further away (closer to north-south).

I completely gassed out in my second fight, and was overwhelmed by my opponent's strikes (a roundhouse to my head sealed the deal, I was pretty much out). I'm still waiting for that video though

Arun, I told ya before that was awesome, and it is. That was a perfectly timed takedown, and you completely dominated once on the ground. I guess those knees do hurt. LOL Your grappling definitely seemed a lot better than in the first few videos from last year. Thanks for your encouragement in my own horrible striking game. I just got to train it more...

I know what you mean about gassing though. A lot of it has to do with relaxing, IMO. After a few Pankration tournaments, you won't gas as easily. You'll be more comfortable and more efficient and relaxed. So you won't spend as much energy and keep your cardio up. Good luck at your next tourney!

Holy shit that guys arm bent bad.. well done man!

Awesome dude, great job. I thought you were gonna break that dude's arm!

Lol @ guy being carried out in a stretcher behind them.

Mind telling me rules of Pankration?

That looked like 75% BJJ 25% MMA...pretty cool though...very nice S mount.

Very nice job man!

Very tight mount and good armbar.

I gotta say I love this vid for all the wrong reasons though:

- Renzo vs. Shamrock reference with the knees from bottom.

- Guy being carried away on a stretcher in the background.

- The guy in the SUIT coming out of NOWHERE to make sure the submission is properly broken up and then without saying a word, exits to the right of the screen.

And all that in little over a minute... awesome!

Wow guys, thank you all for your time and support!! Best of luck to all your training!!

wow, its much faster-paced than most fights i've seen

^This is because each fight is only 5 minutes, so nobody can afford to waste time in executing their gameplan.

is that something you'd recommend before someone gets fully into MMA?

Personally yes, I would recommend doing this before 100% NHB, because you need to get exposed to being in a "fight" situation, where an opponent is trying to hurt you with strikes. In fact, there were some pro MMA fighters at the event (i.e. War Machine). 90% of the people that competed trainbed out of MMA academies.

i like yr attitude!!

Thank you sir, I think we need more sportsmanship in BJJ/MMA...

Awesome man great job. What belt are you in BJJ?

Been a blue belt for sometime...

Inspirational, what is the rules?

Thank you so much! Here are the rules: http://fightleague.org/Rules.html
