Voted Best Song of the 90s

Smells Like Teen Spirit should have won.

Honorable mentions

Crossroads by Bone Thugs N Harmony?

I like BTH and I even got tiered of the song

I always wanted to be in on a NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC old fogey meeting.

Lol @ the New Radicals.

With all the amazing acts during the 90s a band no one even remembers represents the decade. Laughable at best.

How about a band and a song people actually give a fuck about and remember

I never understood why Green Day got so popular. Dookie was fucking brilliant, but the rest is just crap.

Pick any song off this album.

I honestly thought this was a James song.

*Edit* Or, oh Jesus, can't believe I forgot about this:

which of course immediately makes me think of this...

and this...

I like any of these more than the New Radicals pick.

Great post although I actually prefer the runner-up from the Seattle sets:

Let's be honest, we all know it's Macarena. We just don't want to admit it

Definitely up there. Couldn't make a top 10 (5, even) without including this brillant song. God, I wish Bjork hadn't become what she has, which is boring as fuck imo.

I saw her play a tiny club in Montreal with the Sugarcubes, a very long time ago. It was a fantastic show.

"WE ARE THE ICE CUBES FROM SUGARLAND!"

I loved that show, and Bjork was incredible.
