Could be. That was November 8th 2017 and the glass incident was supposedly back in March 2017. Although he said his twitter comment was a joke.
Not the sort of guy whose account I'd trust anyway.
It hadn't recovered months later (June).

Strangely enough almost all the addicts I've known have managed to survive and clean themselves up (with relapses in some cases and a lot of ongoing issues). The notable exception ending up in a barrel of acid in a vault in Snowtown.
Hard to watch that sort of self-destructive spiral.
I'm honestly surprised this guy's managed to survive so long.
And just look at him. He had so much to lose.... ahem.

Weird thing about former coke heads I have known. To a man they have a certain twitchiness about them, like they're always on 10 cups of coffee and a pack of smokes. I feel like I need only about 5 minutes with someone to spot if they used to be addicted to coke.

I would have weird kinky sex with whoever invented Luden's cough drops.

I am convinced many liberals are not actually pro immigrant they are just anti European. Look at this Paul Ryan passed a common sense immigration bill which allows more college educated Irish to come to the U.S and liberals are outraged. @Greoric Any thoughts on this

Before he leaves office in January, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) wants to give Irish citizens access to thousands of unused U.S. work visas.

Under the E-3 program, a total of 10,500 visas are allotted exclusively to Australia, but with new legislation pushed by Ryan, Irish nationals would have access to any that are unused.

Critics are not taking kindly to the outgoing speaker’s gesture toward people from a single, relatively wealthy European nation while migrants in more dire circumstances ― refugees, asylum-seekers and young children ― are being forcibly kept out of the country, detained and deported.

After blocking comprehensive immigration reform for years, Paul Ryan making a special pitch to bring more White people to America on the way out the door is so fucking perfect that I can't stand it

Because he is Irish, Paul Ryan is promoting a bill that could provide Irish nationals with thousands of additional work visas each year. I’d love to see this included in the next op-ed from a white writer lamenting “identity politics,” but I know better. https://politi.co/2EvZw1c

The bill would give the Irish access to unused E-3 visas.

Hi @SpeakerRyan, after spending years of your useless career blocking comprehensive immigration reform, you chose to end it by pushing for visas for some more white people.

You left DC as one of the worst Speakers in history, a coward, a complete fraud and an ever worse being.

Ryan himself has blocked efforts to pass the Dream Act, which would provide a path toward permanent residency for many young people who were illegally brought to the U.S. as children and grew up here.

The outgoing speaker, whose ancestors came to America from Ireland to escape famine in the 1850s, has always had a soft spot for the country. He even said he hopes to one day become to U.S. ambassador to Ireland.

The Irish government is backing the bill, according to documents obtained by Politico. As part of a deal, Ireland would expand academic exchange programs and make is easier for qualifying Americans to retire in the European Union nation.

Ryan’s Ireland visa legislation passed the House easily on Nov. 28 and is up for a Senate vote next week.[quote[

I'm convinced you'll skew every single issue to fit your bullshit.

QFT , I know this all too well, it's incredibly easy to spot now, and kind of sad:(

Reminder

Flaming- There are limits to the mild flaming that is allowed in the War Room. If you find your posts only containing flaming, you'll likely receive infractions. This is a form of derailment in which you are no longer discussing the topic at hand and choosing to just personally attack another poster. Avoid severe accusations against other posters, both direct and implied (such as murder, paedophilia and rape). A strong line is drawn on any threats (whether violent/sexual) to other posters or members of their families.

This includes any poster who has been banned. I do not want to see any of this mentioned or implied when discussing a banned poster.

For my 40k fans this is another great fan film

@Jack V Savage

Warren or Sanders?

I think what Warren has proposed is better, and I'd expect her to continue to do a better job coming up with solutions to problems. She has way less experience, though, and probably isn't as good at playing the game. And really, if you're asking about the presidency, I prefer her in the Senate, maybe majority leader for the next Democratic majority.

Initial thoughts are I wouldn't describe those people as liberals. Those are marxists.

Hmm. You've never read Marx or any Marxists, have you?

As for the plan, on its face, it's good. Considering the rabid anti-immigration sentiment by the right and the odd justification for the exception that Ryan has given, it seems very clearly an attempt to play an ugly type of identity politics. So I can see why it's been criticized (and LC's guess at the motivation is ludicrous). But I'd say go for it anyway while also publicly calling Ryan out.

Shhhh. You need to be more deferential to your intellectual superiors.

Yeah, empty trolling is your best bet with me on any topic unrelated to nursing.

I think you two are talking past each other. Greoric is likely talking about cultural marxism which is something that was created long after Marx was in his grave. That was an in part an attempt to figure out how to implement the principles laid out in Das Kapital.
