Warrior Diet/Intermittent Fasting...

Freestyler- I'll be keeping a track of your progress.
I tried the IF briefly last week, and now I'm trying it a bit more strictly since Monday.
My feeding window ties in with the food schedule where I am, but it runs from about 12.00 until 19.00, with 2 feedings. Unfortunately, it's usually bar o clock for a few hours afterwards.
I may have to throw another one in with a sandwich or something as I'm probably not hitting the calories required for someone at 88kg.

I can't turn down coffee in the morning though, but there's barely any calories in coffee especially without sugar and milk, so will see how it goes.

What I was meaning with adding the beer and work/training info was IF just perfectly fits into my schedule. Basically, I'm still holiday eating because I'm not trying to "lose" weight at the moment but IF has always given me good results as far as BF% goes. This may not apply to everyone but if I'm 170sh with 8-9% BF, eating like shit and drinking will only make me...
1. Gain a couple
2. Add some % to that BF.

In return, IF has always kept my BF low or steady in this case. When retail slows and I have to start thinking weight cut and training 5 times a week, my diet will clean up along hand.

As far as I go with "liquids" during the fast... I mostly just drink water, but still take my preworkout when necessary. Read in multiple IF cases that people were still taking supp's reguarly. Obviously the point of a fast is to rid the body of toxins, so I'm a hypocrite because I drink 3 days a week and slam caffeine all day but it works for me for these 60+ hour weeks of bullshit retail.

10.3am - DL, Military Press
12.3pm - multi + fish oils + glucosamine + 5g Creatine
3pm - Chicken Buritto; 2 slices of Chicken(130cals) + Tortilla Wrap(80 cals) + Pinch of Cheese(30 cals) = (240 cals)
-(3) Scrambled Eggs(300cals)
7pm - Cup of Hot/Spicy Ramen(210cals)
- Ham Sammy(250cals)
7.3pm - Nootropic Mix + 200mg caffeine
10pm - PIZZA(500cals)
11pm - BEER(600cals)
12am - Not there yet... :eek:

-Might not drink 600cals of beer but I'd rather estimate HIGH then LOW.
-Drank about 70oz of water.
 
My 2 cents ,as someone who does IF, don't consume anything besides water during your fast period.

As soon as your stomach starts digesting something it fucks up the fast (might as well start eating), at least in my experience.

Samsung rep showed up and ordered 12 pizzas for us today. I ate pizza all day and didn't get a chance to go home on a 13 hour shift to get my vitamins/aminos/etc. Call it my cheat day since I'm finally home and finishing it with some beer.

Just a quick comeback to this after reading around.

I've seen a lot of people saying that IF with coffee is fine.
They've said as long as it's zero calories (so no milk, no sugar, but sweetners alright and zero calorie soft drinks...?).

Just a bit of input to see what anyone else says

I've read the same.
 
Did good yesterday till late at night. Went to some X-Mas Christmas light show at the zoo and drank a few stellas, ate a pretzel, ate some pizza. Woke up about a lb over but just got done with a morning run.

A high in fibre diet with almost no sugar would be a good warrior diet.
 
The melatonin before a long overnight fast is a fantastic idea. Normally I don't post in the logs because I don't want some assuming I'm soliciting for business, but this is worth mentioning. If you want to maximize the anti-oxidant properties of the melatonin, try to get close to 10 hours of sleep. This allows for the serotonin-melatonin cycle to reach the stage of prolactin production. Prolactin is a potent white blood cell generator, and basically, your immune system will be operating at full blast.
