What are the holes in Mighty Mouse's game?

What are the holes in Mighty Mouse's game -- technique wise? He's the most well rounded and technically sound fighter in the history of the sport, but there must be some deficiencies. Let's discuss.

Serious discussion, please. Keep jokes to a minimum.

He's very, very small.

A much larger opponent would not be concerned about his power, which would allow him to get in close and neutralize DJ's speed with swarming striking power and a smothering clinch game. Once a much larger man got him to the ground, MM would have trouble defending from damage let alone escaping.

Now... due to the fact that prize fighting is organized into weight classes, this weakness will never be exploited in an MMA match.

... but let's not keep pretending it isn't a weakness.

Would be interesting to see him against a rangy fighter (by flyweight standards) with elite striking and really good TDD. Currently that fighter is not on the roster from what I can see but one could come along. He had problems early on with Tim Elliot who has physical advantages but lacks the technique. I thought Justin Scoggins might have gone on to be that man 18 months ago but he seems to be lacking something mentally.

he shouldn't stream while playing, other playes can watch it

His takedown defense is his most glaring hole. He is taken down in almost every fight. The issue is, most guys can't keep him down.

The biggest hole in Demetrious' game is the fact that any normal sized person of average athleticism would kill him within two minutes.

You've never tried sparring or rolling with a real fighter, have you?

DJ's shown awesone ability to get off his back against bigger fighters, but unfortunately that doesn't score you points.

hes just more genetically gifted

the fact that theyre ant sized in a big octagon gives him unlimites room to run away, and hes just faster than his opponents

in a smaller ring hed get ko'd by now

His striking defense probably. He tends to walk back with his head straight up. If he wants to move up and face Cody thats definitely something he needs to work on more.

TDD isn't elite, nor is his boxing. Hasn't mattered yet.

Size > skill mate its called physics

Size isn't greater than skill all of the time. Quit maligning physics with foolishness.

Look up videos of "little guy knocks out bigger guy" and after you have watched double-digit examples, come back and apologize for your ignorance.

terrible take down defence, he get taken down by cans like borg and that tuf winner

got his back taken by borg

got dropped by the tuf guy

How is that 125lbs boxers dont look as manlet-ish as DJ?
