Ken was an animal a grinder with explosive power and didn't mind getting hit. People shit on him but he had AMAZING kicks before he suffered wear and tear. He really was a great embodiment of a shootfighter.
Frank was more systematic. He was more focused on kickboxing and catch wrestling. He would spam you with strikes on the feet or go for a million sub attempt on his back. Although he did have slams and throws.
Difference Is, Ken would over power you with his skillet which is striking to clinch to ground right of the bat. While frank would try to break you down first by attacking your conditioning then he would pick his poison.
It's like Ken was power based while Frank was more tactical and relied on the war of attrition.
Ken Shamrock’s one of the pillars of MMA along with Royce Gracie, Severn and a couple other fighters. In totality, Ken’s career and accomplishments surpass Frank’s in my view.
