Instead of Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight being the divisions that he competed in, imagine they were Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight instead. There would be so many good fights and interesting rivalries if this were the case:

Luke Rockhold - I could see them having great chemistry as rivals. If you thought Bisping got under Luke's skin, imagine that being ten times worse with Conor. And just as was the case with Bisping and Romero, I could also see Conor's left sending Luke spiraling to the floor in defeat and then being mercilessly trolled by Conor over the loss afterwards.

Michael Bisping - What's there to say? Two good (great?) trash talkers squaring off both on the mic and in the octagon. Imagine it happening in The Count's home country of England.

Yoel Romero - He's the unstoppable monster of MW (unless your name is Robert Whittaker.) It'd be a little like the way Khabib is right now, where you have a guy running through everyone and leaving people scratching their heads as to whether there's anyone good enough to beat this guy or not, and especially whether McGregor himself can pull it off. Just for hypothetical sake, let's say that Yoel beat and finished Whittaker. Let's also say he never suffered that one loss very early into his career. Conor would be tasking himself with being the one to bring down the undefeated, unstoppable monster that no one's been able to conquer yet... Similar to how he will with Khabib if Khabib gets past Ferguson.

Daniel Cormier - Jones got in his head. Conor would probably do worse. Interesting style match up that pits Cormier the wrestler against Conor the striker. DC is one of the best of all time too, so this is a hell of a feather in McGregor's cap if he could pull it off.

Jon Jones - Jones is one of the absolute greatest of all time (PED issues aside for the moment), can you imagine if Conor was the one to solve the Jon Jones and hand him his first real loss? Plus JJ is a walking billboard of criticism for the shit he's done in his personal life, plenty of material for McGregor to use against him in the build up and Jones has proven to be hyper-sensitive to that stuff at times.

He would still be a good shit talker and mediocre mma fighter

He would cut to FW again...

Well I guess he'd be living that burger king lifestyle.

Jesus christ the salt in this post.

Berate Conor however you want but calling him a mediocre mma fighter just disqualifies your opinion on MMA entirely imo. Anyone with a brain will tell you that Conor is a great MMA fighter and if they dont, its obvious they know nothing about the sport.

I'm not qualified to tell him otherwise. You do it.

He's got the gas tank of a HW.

What if Roy Nelson was Mighty Mouse size and he just went into chinese buffet's and cleaned them out leaving onlookers baffled as to how a man that size could eat so much food......

What the fuck was this moved to Wasteland? It's a legitimate question. This site needs better Mods, seriously.
