What is Brad Pitt's best movie?

Personally, I think I'd go :

Fight Club
SE7EN
Interview With Mandela Vampire

Fight Club, Se7en, Interview with the Vampire and Inglorious Basterds. Don't make me pick.

Take this seriously before I touch you with teh jab.

This was the version the studios wanted to make, because it was more 'heroic' and made the bad guy 'lose', and it would have been horrible. The ending as it is, is perfect. Sheer devastation, and the bad guy wins. It's what makes it such a classic. Fucking with that at all would have massively diluted the film's impact.
Yeah, but from a storyline POV, it would have made sense. Andrew Kevin Walter was one twisted mofo - he also wrote 8mm about snuff films and pornography. I believe he was the fat guy at the beginning, Sloth.

But yeah, I do like the film ending because it was so bleak and "unHollywood." And no way would any judge or jury convict Mills for doing that. Easily temporary insanity. The funny thing is, I was actually pulling for Doe. I was fine with him killing everyone, especially Paltrow and the lawyer. Hahaha.

Pitts been in a ton of good movies.

Here's a few people seem to forget
Tree of Life
Big Short
Babel
Fury
Sleepers

I like
Inglorious Bastards
Seven
True Romance

he was great in Big Short, even in a smaller role.

I'd say Fight Club, Se7en, and Moneyball were my personal favs

I think the ending makes more sense the way it happened. The whole story was about Det. Somerset's hope being lost, as he has watched the city fall more & more into bleakness & despair. Then along comes Det. Mills, this ray of hope & optimism for the future, who is about to take the torch as Somerset retires, and gets Somerset thinking about hope again, a little spark. Then the ending comes along, and completely crushes Mills and the hopeful future he represents. It works because Detective Somerset is kind of the audience, from beginning to end. He is us, watching all of this shit unfold, just as helpless as we are in our seats. That helplessness as the observer frames the entire story. If he had suddenly intervened in the end, and killed John Doe before Mills could do it, it would have hit such a false note. For me, anyway. The bad guy needed to win here. More than that, we needed to see Mills make his choice, and carry it out. I'm really glad Fincher fought for this one and managed to keep the ending intact. Brad Pitt apparently helped with that a lot as well, throwing his weight around with the studios. He also helped Fincher protect Fight Club in a similar way when they tried to make changes to that one as well.

Fight Club

Love this movie, it's so quotable.

I sometimes quote this movie in my daily life. Recently, one of my co-workers wanted a favor from me, but was being indirect about it. I used "just ask, is it a problem for you to ask?"

Epic movie.

I think it's a great movie

I think of it more as a collection of great performances, as opposed to a great movie. Similar to Hail, Caesar!, I liked watching each scene, but it didn't come together for me as any greater than the sum of its parts.
