Pelosi, the corpse that walks and talks, has said that they are going to start lots of investigations now that they have control of the house. They are going to try to stop the government from governing, it's almost unbelievable!
That is not what an opposition party is supposed to do.

The people in this party have an obsession with one person and that is Trump. They think about him every day and must discuss how they can piss him off. They sound like spiteful little kids really. These guys should be thinking about stuff like legislation, political things, trying to work out why they lost the election, not trying to stop a government from working.

They just refuse to acknowledge that they lost the unlosable election. Now they will do everything they can to annoy and put a spanner in the works. They are just so obsessed with Trump.
Trying to fuck up the government isn't good for the American people surely? If i were a Democrat i'd be getting pissed off at all this hatred and obsession, its just wrong.
If it were the Republicans doing this and the Democrats were in power i'd be feeling the same way. These elected officials get really good salaries and perks to act like intelligent, adult, politicians, representatives of the people. However they want to be nasty and disruptive just for the sake of it, i just don't understand.

They refuse to acknowledge any of the good things Trump has done for the country. It shouldn't matter that he is a Republican President, they should give credit when credit is due. And now they want to stop him carrying on doing well for the American people, they are like little toddlers in a temper tantrum, moan, moan, moan, about Trump.
I honestly believe they are letting down Americans. I'm so glad the politicians out here are nowhere near as childish and spiteful.

The debt will still rise, the military will still roll.

Business has never looked better!

The republicans kept te witch hunt open against the presumptive democratic nominee right up into election year, I think the Democrats learned from that experience and will use similar tactics against Trump. Turnabout is fair play

I hope they run the Benghazi playbook and launch an endless stream of investigations and do everything humanly possible to ratfuck Trump and the Republicans. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to engage them in good faith for even a second. Besides, the Republicans already proved that this can be done with no electoral fallout whatsoever.

The dems will probably be too pussy to do this but one can hope.

It's amazing you MAGimps bitch and moan about the government operating below peak efficiency while hundreds of appointed positions across the government have not received appointments, and are understaffed.

Democrats running investigations? Bad. Skeleton crew of rubes and robbers running the nation? Who cares?

Thats actually what all opposition parties are supposed to do.

The investigations part though is eventually going to bite them in the ass though just as McCarthism did. They are taking that way too far.

If there is stuff that needs to be investigated, then lets do it. All this whining about stuff not getting done, is stupid. The republicans had control of the government for two years and could have done anything they wanted and still failed to get almost anything done, so fuck em.

Democrats think they were hard done by during the Obama years and before. They think and act like what's gone on against Trump through 2 years is a whiff of what was done to Barrack - Mr. Nobel Peace Prize.

What a sick story. It's not a joke.

What's going on by Democrats and their supporters is nothing short of narcisstic naval gazing. But there is more to it than that. There is something very spiteful and hateful about the politics being played right now by Democrats.

Probably fake a Mars landing.

I hope very very little ever gets done. Just lower taxes and then go away.

That’s not quite true. They passed the largest billionaire tax cuts and military spending increases in history; they rolled back economic regulations, environmental protection, consumer watchdogs, and workers’ rights; they weakened healthcare access.

So, they got most of the GOP agenda done.

Has anyone asked Donald Trump for his birth certificate lately?

No, no it isnt.

When each party tries to outdo the other in a race to the bottom the only people harmed are the average citizens.

Democrats were, supposedly, the party of intellectuals, acceptance, the high road etc.

Now they are shitbirds. Just like the shitbirds they are trying to throw shit on.

Question,

Would the Dems and their hard line supporters still be this indoctrinated into causing havoc (e.g Antifa), if a Republican was president but wasn't Trump?

The dems won, get over it, and Trump clearly needs oversight that clownsticks like Nunes and Goodlatte didn't do.

Soon Trump will nominate a new Justice, and they will be scrambling to find some good dirt on her/him. And it might even get worse than what Kavanaugh faced.

This is the normal.

Constant probes, investigations.. Clinton, Bush, faced a slew of this shit. Trump is going to set a record for investigations against him.

U.S. politics are disgusting. I can't hardly watch the mainstream news anymore.

It's going to be a fun two years here, that's all I know.

Democrats are NUTS :

Now that they're set to assume control of the House, there are at least 85 topics that Democrats have said they'd target — or are expected to target — in the forthcoming torrent of investigations and subpoenas to be directed at the Trump White House, according to Axios' reporting and analysis of members' public comments.

Between the lines: Don‘t expect everything all at once. Incoming House Intel Committee Chair Adam Schiff told "Axios on HBO" that each committee plans to prioritize what they view as the most pressing topics, which he says range from Trump's potential business dealings with Russia to where things currently stand with North Korea.

Jonathan Swan wrote in August that Republicans had already catalogued numerous oversight targets that Democrats had signaled, including:

President Trump’s tax returns

Trump family businesses — and whether they comply with the Constitution's emoluments clause, including the Chinese trademark grant to the Trump Organization

Trump's dealings with Russia, including the president's preparation for his meeting with Vladimir Putin

The payment to Stephanie Clifford — a.k.a. Stormy Daniels

James Comey's firing

Trump's firing of U.S. attorneys

Trump's proposed transgender ban for the military

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin's business dealings

White House staff's personal email use

Discussion of classified information at Mar-a-Lago

Jared Kushner's ethics law compliance

Dismissal of members of the EPA board of scientific counselors

The travel ban

Family separation policy

Hurricane response in Puerto Rico

Election security and hacking attempts

White House security clearances

And on Sunday night's "Axios on HBO," Schiff said that he wants to investigate Trump's targeting of the press — namely, The Washington Post and CNN.

And Rep. Nita Lowey (D-N.Y.), the incoming House Appropriations chair, said she'd like to investigate Trump's decision to initiate the Space Force — among a slew of topics already on Swan's list.

Worth noting: The House Oversight Committee had already blocked 64 subpoena requests submitted by Democrats as of September. Here's that list, minus those with target s outside the Trump administration.
