Never stayed there but the place is probably a dump. You also never want to stay at a hotel past Encore. You're basically in the old part of the strip which sucks. What's wrong with the Stratosphere?
Stratosphere? First step is getting a new hotel.
This not in AZ, this is just outside LV near the CA border.
Never been. Don’t drink.world of beer in henderson is also a cool place
the thing that sucks about freemont is cops will harrass you more for drinking there than they do on the strip. drinks are also over priced there a mug of beer at the D hotel bar on freemont is 23 dollars.I actually drove through Vegas and stayed the night on my way to SoCal six weeks ago and realized that after not being there for 16 years, I don't really miss it.
The only thing that I wouldn't mind going back to see is downtown/Freemont St. since I never spent any time there in the early 2000s.
I will say that I was pretty amazed by how much had changed since I'd been there in 2002. But I don't drink and rarely go to casinos anywhere, so if I went back it'd probably be a short trip.
lol at this picNever been. Don’t drink.

Not sure how old you are but the older I get the amenities mean more and worth the difference in price. imo.I see. Oh well. I got a pretty good price and most reviews said it was a decent spot. Just need a place to lay my ass down when I'm tired and hungover
Those CD hustlers are everywhere now. I don't even understand their hustle. They try to get you to but their CDs? Are they blank?Try your best to avoid the trashy ass "performers," porno slappers, and ghetto thug CD hustlers. All are subhuman scum just looking to scam you for a buck.
Also, the timeshare people are garbage too. Just ignore them when they try to offer you free stuff.

My favorite casino was Mandalay Bay. The actual casino floor is massive and gives you that classic Vegas decadence feeling. I would think it might be kind of strange feeling going there now though.
I find the Bellagio and Cesar's to be really underwhelming. The casinos are kind of small and cramped for such massive buildings and $15 minimums
Aria is the most contemporary for the younger gambling crowd.
The Hard Rock is a great casino as well but it's off the bested path a little bit. Probably a 20 minute walk off the strip down from the MGM
MGM is a great middle of the road casino.
Circus Circus/Excalibur/Planet Hollywood aren't worth going to imo.
Learn craps. For me, there's not many things better than being on a hot craps table with a bunch of your buddies in Las Vegas.
If you like sushi then Sushi Roku in Cesar's is some of the best I've ever had
Michael Jackson One at Mandalay is an amazing show that's worth the cost of admission
The best show in town though is the Spearmint Rhino. It's not a trip to Vegas without it.
Good luck and come back with some money
