I would've of thought he would had joined bellator by now. I know he retired a few years ago but if Chuck can TRY to make a comeback, maybe the muscle shark could too..

Hes flipping houses and coaching his son's in wrestling. He still trains and is still in good shape. Apparently hes making good money in real estate.

Nice.

He used to run his building or plastering business on the side while fighting in the UFC. Pretty sure he is doing well and it isn't worth fighting anymore.
He would have done really well if there had been lighter weightclasses around in America back then.

Didn't he cut an obscene amount of weight to get to lightweight?

Interesting little tidbit involving Sherk. When both he and Serra had been on the bench a while but not officially retired they tried to set up a fight against each other. It was exactly what both guys were looking for and they were both OG LW/WW staples of the UFC since the very early 2000s. Not sure why it never happened.

Would've been a great fight.

Yeah because he had to make himself as big as possible to compete between 155/170. You don't think a more"natural" sherk competing against guys with a similar reach wouldn't have held the title ?
It's similar to Frankie Edgar having to drop to 145.

I remember watching his training countdown before the Hermès França fight. He was the first fighter that seemed like he took everything serious with his training when it came to nutrition back in 2007.
