Danish person checking. No one here would even think to remove either universal healthcare nor tuition free education. I have never met a single person that would want that. Btw, only elective procedures have wait times.
It's plenty sustainable. Least corrupt country in the world, very strong middle class, least income inequality in the world, higher on forbes list on countries to do business with than the US, higher on the economic freedom list than the US, better education, more flexible workforce, better wages for the middle class, very low crime rates (no poor, less crime) so on so forth.
Btw, England, Germany, France, Scandinavia and so on. Every single country in the first world has some sort of single payer system and even access to education. It's not some radical idea. You guys pay twice as much as the OECD average for your care and you get the same standard, while still managing to have almost 30 million people uninsured. All because private insureres jacks up the prices on services and medicine. 1,5 trillion dollars in student debt, trillions of dollars in national debt, health insurance one of the leading causes of bankruptcy, people working full time on foodstamps, insane poverty rates, more people in jail per capita than any other country in the world, I could go on for ages. Well done!
