Blockbuster didnt carry them until the late ninties...........Hollywood video had them since 95

Thanks. I came back to change my answer after thinking about it for awhile. Somewhere in the 94-95 range and, and the first 2-3 had to be from somewhere other than Blockbuster. There were a shitload of options back in the day.

Blockbuster was the biggest and the only one I could remember at the time. I do remember Hollywood Video now. Thanks again. Now I have some good memories of "different" types of videos that I rented back then. I digress...

I remember being a kid, born in the Dominican Republic. My brother got jailbroken satellite cable for the house and as a big fan of the WCW and WWF i was so happy when i came across my first UFC event.

I mustve started watching somewhere between UFC30 and UFC40.

Obviously as a kid i didnt like more than WCW or WWF but it was something cool to watch as wrestling wasnt always on.

1998. I was in Middle School and my best friends Dad ordered it... I remember it being fairly late and there was a lot of attention on softcore porn in between the fights. The ring girls were wearing lingerie and awesome stuff like that on filler cutaways.

Here in the UK we used to have a channel called bravo that would occasionally show Ufc events, the first one I watched was Randy vs chuck 1. I think the first live event we got on TV over here was chuck vs rampage? I could be wrong though

I remember to learn about pride while I was training (heard people talking about it).
So I looked it up and watched my first Pride (27, the one Mark Kerr Knocked himself out).

Ever since, I started watching, and at some point, I started watching UFC as well...

But I don't recall the exact event.

Early nineties........i had seen some early IVC fights before UFC with Wanderlei.........

I also trained with Craig Kukuk at Renzos waaay back when........Matt and Nick Serra were purple belts, Mito and Vinnes taught.......the good old days

Cool story , what part of the DR? Rare that you liked wcw wwf , that was popular there Way way back in the 80's , 90's it was dead .
