I always thought that Fedor was hyped up by some commentators as being a huge knockout power puncher, when he was more of a speed and accuracy-based guy, who got KO's because of his fantastic anticipation and placement.

Kamaru Usman
Tyron Woodley
Tony Ferguson

So, misunderstood cuz "he/she is really a decent guy/girl" or misunderstood in terms of their fighting style/skills?

Some Asshole is gonna claim Conor is misunderstood and actually not a massive twat

Jon Jones.
Dude gets a bad rap for cheating and hit and runs on pregnant ladies but really he's just misunderstood. He snitches on pot users. He's good guy.

Paul Harris isn't a monster, he's just a misunderstood Lennie Smalls.

After he's done semi-intentionally breaking off limbs post tap, poor fella probably begs his coach to tell him stories about the rabbits.

In terms of fighting skills, Rumble Johnson

Most people think he is a wild brawler with little technique that just hits hard and has no cardio,

but in reality his technique was very underrated and he had the best striking defense in all of MMA. He wasn't rocked a single time in his career, even when his brain was completely dehydrated at Welterweight. You can probably count on one hand the number of times he was hit cleanly with a power punch during his LHW run, and he also displayed great cardio in his 3 round drubbing of Phil Davis. His problem was always his lack of fighting spirit, not his stamina.

Anderson Silva.

Anyone who doesn't think he is the GOAT misunderstands MMA.

While he genrally clubbed ppl to death like a bear, similar to mark hunt at times,in his one hit quitters He hurled his entire body into the punch like a javelin, getting maximun possible power into the punch. You hit a guy like that how can they not die?

You have to explosive to be able to do that though. Not all accuracy and speed, but explosive force too.

Paul Buentello just wanted to raise awareness of the consemequences
