Which gaming console should I get?

I guess you forgot Gears of War 4, Halo 5: Guardians, Rare Replay, Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider, State of Decay, Sunset Overdrive, Killer Instinct, and many more.

Mediocre, Mediocre, Old Ass Shit, Fucking awful, Not exclusive, Shit, Not bad, Dime a dozen rehashed fighter.

Seriously, the exclusive argument goes to PS4 in a fucking landslide. It's not even close. Cuphead is the only exclusive that might make PS4 owners even remotely envious.

Are games still considered exclusive when they are also available on the PC?

Not a good comeback to being thoroughly owned.

No beef. Just an observation.
Yes. They are "Console Exclusives".

Really, we've never had a more comprehensive (and tidy) resource than the Gematsu page I keep linking.

The different kinds of exclusives they track:
  • Full Exclusive - Games released exclusively on one console.
  • Platform Exclusive - Games released exclusively on a single family of consoles.
  • Console Exclusive - Games released for a single console (or family of consoles) in addition to PC.
  • Timed Exclusives - Games exclusive to a single console (or family of consoles) for a limited time.
  • Generation Exclusive - Games that are exclusive to one console from a single generation of consoles, but also released on previous generation consoles.
  • Peripheral Exclusive - Games that are exclusive to one console (or family of consoles) that require additional peripherals. (PlayStation VR, Kinect, etc.)
  • Added Content - Games that were previously timed exclusive, but are now released on new platform with a significant amount of additional content.
  • [Import] - Games released exclusively in Japan or Asia that you can import.
  • [Pending] - Games announced for (and possibly released in) Japan or Asia that are still not confirmed for a western release.

I'm still rocking the Sega.

Is that 95? I played the shit out of and still own nhl 98. Thats the one where after the fight the player would slam the penalty box gate and say grrr grrr grr under his breath. I also had nhl 2001? On the pc. That one let you swap out players faces and jerseys so i scanned in a bunch of serial killers faces and put on the ice a roster of all killers and even changed the jersey to their last names. Was fun to watch ted bundy trip up tie domi.

That's '93, fighting and all.

I think all of them had fighting, but "NHLPA 93" had the blood pool when you beat someone. That shit was great. I believe they replaced the blood with stars afterwords.

Nope, fighting ended with 93. 94 had no fighting, but did introduce one-timers.

Hmph, you are...correct.

You'll have to excuse me. I'm having a "mandela effect" moment here.

Xbox one x has some sexy hardware and looks great. PS4 has a better exclusives line up. I’d probably go for PS4. Both are good though

wow, is this arguing and being a bellend about different hardware actually still a thing?

I would get the 4k Xbox.

I mostly game on PC with a 1080ti but I also have a PS4.

I admit, the PS4 does have some good exclusives (Until Dawn, Uncharted, Last of Us, God of War), but I would still prefer the better graphics of the latest xbox and the much better controller (although the triggers are way too sensitive).

But this is coming from if I had to make a choice. Since I have a kick ass PC, PS4 is the obvious answer for exclusives.

I would love to recommend the Nintendo but their catalog is fucking garbage. Looks like the Game cube was their last great console.

It definitely depends on the kinds of games you want to play. Basically, online multiplayer games function better on Xbox One. Playstation 4 has better exclusive and single player games. Switch might be the most kid friendly, but I don't have kids so I wouldn't know where to start.

This is the best most unbiased truthful comment.

If you want the best graphic consoles can offer, best online servers, more free games, generally older player base Xbox wins.
If you want good exclusives, the best JRPG, or best story based games Sony hits the mark.
If you want the most kid friendly, best exclusive, cheapest platform, Switch is best.

Try to ignore the fangirls who think whatever system they game on is best. Every system has its pros and cons.

I just bought an Xbone S as part of a Boxing Day sale the other day. It’s bundled with the Gears games and Halo games. From the looks of it that’s probably the only Xbox exclusives I would really be interested in. I’ll probably just keep getting games primarily for my PS4.
