Huh? USA has been using sterilization and mass incarceration to control numbers of poor much more intently and in a much broader scale than Singapore or Japan.

USA has way more people in jail both in an absolute sense and on a per capita basis. That is the policy of the war on drugs.

Singapore actually spends more on social benefits like housing than the UK. Singapore focuses way more on using carrots rather than sticks to control the population.

Considering that convicted felons in the United States have more children on average than non-fellons, I'm going to disagree with you.

Also, the reason the united states has way more people in prison per captia than a place like Singapore is the same reason the United states has way more people in in prison than Iran.

Do you know happens when you get caught with a couple pounds of Mary Jane in Singapore? You win a Darwin award. You don't get to spend a couple years in a country club only to get out and knock a girl up before getting arrested again for doing the same stupid shit.

I think you really missed the point that citizens in Singapore have better access to housing and healthcare than their USA counter parts.

War on Drugs hasn't worked at all.

There isn't a high level of demands for drugs in Singapore or Iran like in USA. Niether of those places have a problem with prescription drug overdoses either.

Singapore has third world income inequality. A lot of poor people in Singapore don't even have indoor plumbing or running water much less access to quality housing or healthcare.

An unemployed baby machine in the United States can get section 8 housing in a decent neighborhood. She can also receive free Internet to play on her Safe-link compatible iphone-x all day while having free access to the most advanced healthcare on Earth. She can literally feed her kids ribeye steaks or fresh lobster that's been purchased with a food card if she wants. She can hop on a bus and go sit in a hot tub or get a massage at the YMCA without paying a single dime. She can even get a free college education if she chooses the right path.

This is an absolute joke. Look kid, I've traveled a bit around this rock, and you need to understand that you live in one of the best if not the best countries on Earth.

Both sides are annoying as fuck...but I really hate that the world has gone pussy-fied....People get offended by petty things....I got hit once twice growing up and got put in my place for being a bratty kid....I learn to understand that I won't get what I want most of the time and had to work for it.... Never threw a fit in a grocery so mom can get me what I wanted....

I dunno why you brought up Singapore as some kind of example to be emulated by USA and then when I agree in part you change your mind?

There is no way you like the healthcare arrangement in this country or enjoy dealing with these insurance companies, paying a co pay and a premium etc.
