    I more curious as to how in this day and age, teams can make the tourney without a 7 footer.

    In fact some teams tallest is 6'9".

    Id have to say Canada, USA, Finland and Sweden teams all got screwed by not being able to have NHL players available at the olympics.

    Thus allowing GERMANY to win Silver...

    Let that sink in.

    Germany as the 2nd best hockey nation for the next 4 years....

    By far, the two most important things to have are defense and good guardplay in the tournament. Teams with good guards almost always excel over those with size. It's why humongous teams like Michigan State, Oklahoma, Arizona, Kentucky, Bama, and Texas are sitting at home and Michigan and Loyola are still rolling.
