Why are all the best mma fighters from the USA?

Probably because the UFC is an American org, which means it's easier to sign American fighters given that they both reside in the same country?

America also has a strong Wrestling tradition and has alot of MMA gyms, aswell as, MMA as we know it first got it's start in the US?

Most countries, outside of Brazil and Canada(not to say we're on par), are seriously behind the US and it's clear why.

Of the five greatest fighters ever (Fedor, GSP, Silva, Aldo, MM), only one is from the U.S.

Americans suck at football so they invented other sports they could win, even called one of them football. Nobody cares about American football or baseball but they like basketball so now the USA isn't even the best at basketball.

American football sucks but so does soccer. Horse shit sports.

<DisgustingHHH> .

Cuz America

<Moves>

(Actual reason is probably availability of good camps and coaches, ease of travel, MMA not being popular in many countries, and UFC being an American org)

Pretty sure Americans have failed more USADA tests than Brazilians, bud.

Source? What percentage of all UFC fighters are American? Because if the majority are American that statistic (or lack there of) doesn't mean much.

At any rate to answer TS it's because the sport is in it's infancy.

No is not moron.

Baseball is played in the us cuba Venezuela and japan, the rest of the world gives 2 fucks about baseball. It’s none existent.

To your question, mma is a usa based sport and it feeds mostly of your amarcican talent, which are in the majority guys with wrestling background. Folky makes a great base and most important, creates really tough guys by the time the graduate from college, mentally and physically.

But most likely is numbers.

You left out Mexico, Korea, Australia, Taiwan etc .

{<hhh] . Soccer sucks get over it.

Norway are the best at the Winter Olympics, by far.
Summer olympics, Britain have 263 gold medals (population 61m). USA 1022 gold medals (population 325m).
Per person, GB are better.
And by total medal hall per person, are more than twice as good as USA.

This is also a similar per person number for boxing.

USA, per person, are one of the worst countries for sporting successes, in any sport that isn't considered a domestic top 3 sport of baseball, basketball and NFL.

I wonder it the UFC is US based... oh yeah. Well, I think you'll find that Russia is more successful because of M1 global fighting championships. Russians are the best.

MMA and boxing is bigger in USA than in many other countries which is why so many of the good fighters are American. I'd also guess that the USA invests more money into athletics than e.g. Brazil but I wouldn't know. Your reasoning sounds a bit funny and unnecessarily patriotic considering USA is not looking too good when it comes to Olympic medals per capita. See http://www.medalspercapita.com/

Because the popularity in the us and the majority of the fighters are american with the biggest mma organisations..if mma was a worldwide sport like football in pretty sure Europe, asia and Russians would dominate

It's not a global sport. Just like most American sports, majority of the world doesn't care about it.
Exactly

90% of the countries in the world have literally never heard of MMA

Most popular sports are:

Football
Cricket
Field Hockey
Tennis
Volleyball.

America sucks at all of them.
America is mainly only good at their own made up sports that they like to think are globally popular yet in reality no other country even plays it and certainly doesn't give a fuck about it.
