Why are there so many odd names in UFC?

Cause Jon Jones is just to plain and boring, could you imagine a fighter like that?
 
People got odd names because they have odd parents. They want their child to be that special snowflake.

The problem is that every old hippie got kids at the same time, so then we ended up with whole classes just full of these weird names.

Simple: People with strange names have to defend themselves from being made fun of from an early age. Fighting becomes second nature and a career doing it is just a part of the natural progression.

Idk I was going to say because a lot are foreign but then I again I have never met another chael or Urijah or jens
Jens is very common in germany and scandinavia.
