Why do HWs have such better chins than smaller guys?

Chin is a social construct, it is psychological. In true warfare weight does not matter, a warrior like Platinum Mike Perry could easily hang in there with someone like Overeem solely based on heart and black belt hands

Well overeem was born in the body of a lw even though he is a hw in his soul. He transitioned to hw and saying he is still a lw chin is just bigoted.

Explain Manhoef Hunt ko then.

Melvin hits very very hard and hunt was running forward. Hunt is bigger and melvin kind of has a glass jaw. The TS' point stands.

HW's hit harder, and it's easy to explain why.

I think the chins can be explained by a sort of natural selection. HW's with bad chins don't even make it past the amateur or low-level pro circuits. When you see HW's in the UFC, most of them have at least decent chins.

You can get to the UFC with a weaker chin in the lower weights because the fighters don't hit as hard as the heavies.
