Trump isn't even done with his first term and you're saying he's top 5 worst despite our military efforts have been more decisive with less bombs than Obama. Our economy has only grown stronger without Obama. He is actually enforcing Iran to show us what their military is producing instead of just having the UN check their public sector, which Obama was okay with for some reason. His cabinet has renounced power and made it more difficult for future candidates the ability to abuse our system, unlike Obama.

Is he perfect? No.

The headlines have been predominantly (and exaggeratedly) negative since day one. In such an atmosphere of extreme negative oversaturation, those typically adapt to it by producing the opposite of its intended effect: just not giving a sh**.

Trump was never perceived or has marketed himself as having a perfect, clean image; so when you hear news about him banging a porn star, you think 'yeah, that sounds about right' and carry on with your day. It's no shock, it's not that big a deal in this day and age, and it's not going to have the same effect as on some prim and proper politican.

Someone like Trump was put in the position in the first place because that alternative evidently wasn't working. In spite of all the eccentricities and imperfections, what people ultimately care the most is that the person does their job well; because most understand that idealism is not applicable in the real world.
