Why is PC gaming the "master race" when their best games are console ports?

PS4 certainly has it's allure with it's exclusive games and consoles in general are starting to offer more now they are starting to have access to mods. What still really sucks is that many games are locked at 30fps, and trying to play a game at that framerate vs 60fps+ makes me weep.
 
PCs are technically better, we all know this, and games are limited technically because the market is catered to consoles. That said, the better games usually come out on console first, or are console exclusives. I hope that technology can eventually compensate for this shortcoming...

Everybody on Twitch streams through a PC, even if they're playing on a console. Also, you're watching the best so you can learn from them besides the entertainment aspect. There's also other interesting content on Twitch like travel channels, cooking channels, music channels, etc.

I don't understand people always being so tribalistic and antagonistic about this. I haven't played on consoles since the snes and I vastly prefer the graphics/utility/mouse/kb of the pc, but I really don't care whether people like to play on consoles or not.

I only have 2k posts over 12 years. I don't spend all day here like a lot of posters. Can't expect everyond to know that stuff.
 
I have recently bought Far Cry 5 but my PC can't play it properly despite still being fairly newly upgraded. I have been flirting with the idea of buying a PS4 and giving no fucks. I don't think I like the idea of having to upgrade by PC every 3 years to keep up with the games anymore.

I might upgrade my PC one more time, and then just wait until 2020 for a PS5, lol.

PC is the "master race" platform because:
  • It has the largest game library
  • It has near-infinite backwards compatibility
  • It can emulate nearly every system up to the mid-2000s (even Gamecube/Wii and PS2 emulation are remarkably well-developed)
  • It has mod support for countless games
  • It has the best and most frequent sales for games (which in turn means the cheapest games overall)
  • It has the best graphics, even when it comes to multiplatform titles
  • It has the most control options (and switching from M&KB to controller is effortless since most games automatically handle it on-the-fly)
  • It costs nothing to play (and interact with friends) online

5. Civilization
6. Endless other games that only come out on PC.

Our hardware is better, we don't have to buy an entire new console when the gaming gods tell us they are bringing out a new one. Graphics are better and we're just generally 100x more intelligent and better looking than console nubs.

WoW has been "dying" for 10 years, but it's still plugging right along with 5+ million subscribers.

And Fortnite is probably the most popular game ever made but yet it is trash.

PC gaming sucks lol. Mouse and Keyboard is easy mode on FPS as well and doesn’t take nearly the amount of skill controllers take.
