Opinion Why women have better sex under socialism, according to an anthropologist

My best friend is quite wealthy and spends a good deal of time in europe. She said by and large and in general people are way happier over there than here.

She didn't say if the sex was better for her when she was over there or not. <45>
You should ask her if she thinks this anthropologist is correct in her assessment. LOL

conservative science =

good science should be completely neutral of any kind of politics. It's just observations that can be reproduced.

Can't speak to whether women have better sex under socialism.

But in my experience they do have better sex under socialists.

If what Ghodsee claims is true, women are having better sex today than in the 1960's because we have more socialism.

Is it possible that women living under socialism may simply not have much to look forward to after spending half a day in a bread queue? Everything else either does not exist, or is rationed. So socialism doesn't make sex better, it just makes everything else worse by comparison.
I think I'll take her word for it over yours given that she, ya know, wrote a book on it while all you wrote was a shitty OP.
I really hope this doesnt turn into a left vs right thing. Most right wingers globally and right wing populists want some degree of socialism and shun laidez faire capitalism. Hell Trump himself seemed to run on that platform. Tarrifs, protecting factory jobs, wanting to nationalize 5g network and coal and nuclear industry are all socialist in nature and populist platforms. Not to mention Trumps desire for state funded media channel.

Its clearly obvious that some things of socialism doesnt equal =marxist western type leftists pushing tranny agenda or gay stuff.
Well said
Safety nets =/= socialism. Scandinavian countries aren't socialist. Canada isn't socialist. Europe isn't socialist. Socialism is the state owning the means of production, with all the mismanagement, rampant corruption and totalitarianism that entails e.g. Venezuela. Maybe one day American media will stop being retarded and use the word correctly.
That's true but some of those countries are indeed socialist, Norway being the best example. The state owns ~60% of the country's wealth. The difference between Norway and Maoist China or Stalinist Russia or Venezuela is that its not a command economy but instead a market economy, the state is just another player in the market and usually in specific industries like utilities, energy, and telecommunications.

People can´t even discuss a single point actually made in the article. You expect them to use "socialism" correctly?

She actually makes some valid points in regards to maternity leave and healthcare, but discussing the actual content of the article was never the TS intention. He was just mega rustled at the headline and had to make a sherdog thread.

Jonny Mac got triggered by article because he can't satisfy a woman.

Ah yes....you think everyone is getting their share....and then the means of reproduction are seized

Hey man, nothing Cuban women love more than the smell of “Yuma”.....I had to do what I had to do

<{monica}>

On a serious note the Caribbean and Cuba/DR especially are notorious for what they call sex vacations, beautiful women selling their bodies will always be sad to me. Me and my dad were propositioned just for tooth paste and other toiletries....gorgeous girl too. We politely declined, but purchased her what she wanted
So you... paid a prostitute? With your dad?

If you ever want said safety nets, you need to stop associating it with socialism, pretty simple. What the anthropologist said was actually decent, but the Vox journalist felt the need to incorrectly slap the word "socialism" on that and turn off half the readers because in their minds they're imagining failed states... because that's what the definition is.

I won´t matter to people like the TS. If he hadn´t been so rustled by the headline he never would have posted the article. He doesn´t even seem to have read it or want to discuss the actual content. Just have the usual "socialism baaaad" circle jerk.
The democratic socialist nations like Scandinavia actually have quite a few socialist policies (as does the US).. I think it would be better to teach people to think of the term socialist (and socialist policies) in a broader term than the textbook definition. But for now it´s probably better to find a new word so you don´t insta trigger retards.
