Safety nets =/= socialism. Scandinavian countries aren't socialist. Canada isn't socialist. Europe isn't socialist. Socialism is the state owning the means of production, with all the mismanagement, rampant corruption and totalitarianism that entails e.g. Venezuela. Maybe one day American media will stop being retarded and use the word correctly.

I don't know about better sex, but couples are having less children right now because it's so expensive to have them. A woman could lose her job if she takes time off to have a baby let alone spend important time with it. I think it's a gimmick to phrase it that way but there is some truth to it in a sense.

No one is going to read it this way though, just going to be people freaking out and assuming socialsim = communism.
