MOST fans can see what Colby is trying to do by bringing Trump and politics into MMA.

Cloby has clearly workout a whole storyline to sell a fight w/Woodley. Problem is he's using race bait issues to inflame and divide fans.

Colby has brought up the NFL taking a knee issue and disrespect to our Troops.
Which shows Colby didnt do his homework cuz many vets stand w/ Kaepernick on this issue.

Recently he's added Blk lives matter to his gimmick. All to get under Tyron's skin.
Gota feeling casuals will take the bait, but i hope real fans will call Colby out on this cuz it doesnt help our sport.


This is right out of the Sonnen playbook. Recall when Sonnen was pushing the Republican vaules and said ppl who look like Silva, we run out of our neighborhood. I was like doesnt Sonnen knw that Republicans tried to ban MMA in the 90s.

Anyway pillow hands Colby poses no threat to Woodley in the cage anyway,so this match in my view is a waste of time.

Woodley is probably pretty happy to have such a favorable match-up next, and he knows Covington is just a boring fighter who compensates by opening his mouth (which doesn't even work considering Colby's low ratings and social media followers).

I'd say Colby's worse. Tyron moaned about a lot of stuff that he considered to be unfair, but some of that has turned out to be true (Dana stuff). He might have overexaggerated some points or taken some things too seriously, but he always seemed sincere.

Colby's a straight up troll using identity politics and buzzwords for personal gain.
 
It's smart but cheap. Politics these days is just uniting behind exaggerated stories about the other side. People who aren't smart enough to actually comprehend today's issues can still feel important. No critical thinking or individuality needed.

T-Wood's "oppression" is a self fulfilled prophecy. He got what he wanted, don't think he's not stoked about Dana disliking him. Colby's a dumb ass actor.

Anyone supporting either of these dudes deserve it.

I honestly used to find Sonnen‘ schtick obnoxious but humorous, but you knew it was just that a schtick.

Colby has little humor in his trolling, it’s just to garner reaction and attention. I’m not to high on his chances of conquering TWood either. This will be the only fights where I’ll be rooting for Tyron and Colby to “melt into each other” like conjoined Siamese twins, it would serve them right, you know to have talk allot and get along compromise.

Colbyn is using political race issues and Woodley nvr did. I agree 100% Woodley use to complain way to much. That how Stipe,DJ and TJ got on Dana's shit list. However keep in mind alot of wht Woodley said is true throughout history w/race.

Dana has cheered against Tyron since he won the title. Dana backed Wonder boy and he failed twice. Dana backed Till and he failed! Dana was so pissed he left the building. Only cuz this time he couldnt shit on Woodley at the press conference.

U can see throughout the MMA community that many fans feel Woodley is vindicated and was right all along that the company was against him. When Stipe stood up for his self and kept bitchin, fans didnt say much but when Woodley did it OMG FULL BACKLASH. Got no beef w/u Just glad he got payback on all the haters. Enjoy ur day

It will likely be Woodley-Covington but out of those choices I'd rather see GSP-Woodley than Whittaker-Woodley. Bobby has been too inactive due to injuries unfortunately and needs to defend his belt a few times before a fight like that imho.

I give Colby credit for trying to generate mainstream interest in a fight that hardcore MMA fans don't even give a shit about .

He needs to take it up a notch. Say crazy shit like "Woodley will be the 2nd most famous unconscious body from Ferguson.". Inflammatory rhetoric that gets on CNN and the Today Show.

Really rile up the soy boys, blacks and closet white supremacists. Can't sell that garbage fight with his current half measures.
