Also, the cool thing about Rick Rude in "Today's" wrestling is that The Smarks would love him even if he was a Heel because of his Work Ethic, In Ring Ability, Selling, Charisma etc.
Plus he would still be able to get Heat with the regular Marks and Crowds.

I want to say Michaels because his ring work and overall game was so strong in all facets but particularly in the 80s smaller guys didn't have the value they did in the 90's-current product.
