WWE Superstar, John Cheena Doesn't Care about the UFC, Not a fan

Maybe he genuinely isn't a fan, but I almost feel like this could be a positioning standpoint as well, i.e. Putting his brand (WWE) over the UFC. At least he admits his inferiority by admitting he could never cut it in the Octagon with the real men. If he even tried, there'd be people needing to "make a wish" for him lmao.

Would rather see him than CM Punk.

I don't see anything wrong with what he said. He complemented the ufc on its success. Not everyone is a fan of the sport. To each his own.

Lets compare the biggest stars:

Jon Jones: hit and run on pregnant mom, multiple run-ins with the police. 0 make-a-wish foundations granted

John Cena: over 500 make-a-wish foundations granted, 0 run-ins with the law

MMA is the REAL inspiration

So is mother Teresa your favorite fighter then?

I'm sure there's ways around it like anything else, but I'm pretty sure the WWE takes this seriously after Chris Benoit killed his family on their watch. Check out the list of people that have been suspended. They're obviously enforcing something.

Yeah, looks like that program is really preventing steroid and drug use..... nobody doing them.

Is this the guy who dressed up as a wigger for ten years and whored himself to hoards of retarded "sports entertainment" fans for over 300 days a year while on massive amounts of steroids?

No, that's Wanderlei.

it's hard to be an mma fan when you're grouped together with these wwf tards who talk about it like its not a fix.

before the word got out the wwf thought it would shutdown if everyone knew it was a fix they didn't expect everyone to be retards until the 90s when the word got out.
now they expect you to be retarded they even write the storylines to remind you that you are.

He and his boss HHH say the same thing. It's about re-watchability for them. Like how many times have you re-watched the Rocky movies? vs How many times did you re-watch Thrilla in Manilla?

I think most (not all) of us can admit watching the Rocky movies a hell of a lot more than real fights. The problem with actual fights is sometimes the results don't match the buildup and casuals are left dissatisfied. Whereas with wrestling people know it's scripted, but they just want to be entertained by this fake fight and all the drama leading up to it.

As for Cena, of course he likes wrestling. He gets to dress like fruity pebble cereal, play a wangster, get roided up in his down time, and make millions doing it.

I've watched Rhonda vs Holly 117 times.

Nothing wrong with what he said. Different strokes for different folks. I have very few friends who are into boxing or MMA as I am.

Oh look at the big badass MMA fan, claiming Cena uses steroids when he comes out and says he's not a fan of MMA.

Someone get OP a medal.

As far as John Cena is concerned the UFC is just a wannabe version of WWE.

Must be really annoying for those WWE superstars when they are asked about UFC.

It is sad that the UFC and MMA in general keep trying to latch onto the success of WWE.

Who cares what he thinks? But he's wrong about MMA/UFC not telling a story. I think Nate vs McGregor told a great story. So did Holly Holm Vs Ronda Rousey. They just don't like that fact that it's not controlled. Outcomes are not controlled. Not predetermined. They hate that. You can't compare the two in that aspect. One is entertainment. One is a legit sport. It's like comparing the show Eastbound and down with MLB. Come on son.

The UFC and WWE shouldn't ever be used in the same sentence. He's probably mad that Brock Lesnar can kick his ass in real life.
