its becoming apparent the west no longer controls its borders. with a wotld population exploding and poverty increasing all anyone has to do is just arrive at a border or fly into any given western nation and conveniently lose their passport.

ngo's ferry africa to europe.
latin america pours into the us.
asylum now encompasses poverty and gangs.
the world refugee population is now at its highest.
sweden has run out of funds.

its unsustainable.

is this is the liberal swansong, whats the plan ?
 
liberals dont seem too comprehend this but it all cost money.

goverments do have budgets.

Italy is asking Russia for help.

The EU will split unless it becomes actually pro for european peoples and pro secular values and anti islam. You cannot look at the momentum and of poland, hungary, czech and slovakia and now italy and not see the obvious divide. Spain could also shift right. I think for now though germany, central europe countries, and france etc are firm center and will continue to be pro immigration but in smaller numbers maybe some like sweden might continue be open for all. maybe even germany for few more years.

The whole asylum/refugee applying to places that aren’t war torn really aggravates me. We can’t let in every person who’s life is below an economical low level American just because it’s better here than what they left.

Our globe is overpopulated. The solution is not to shove people into the areas doing well. We need to be able to improve life and living conditions on whatever land area we have available

Whilst not open-borders in the USA (yet), the ferry service and hushing them through land bridges of Spain and Italy to Germany and Sweden, trying force Hungary and Poland to take them shows a concerted effort across governments to bring them in and the inevitable pushback as seen in Italy. What is the endgame if governments end up being voting out and replaced with more right wing ones to stem an uncontrolled and unsustainable intake? Well merely because once they can't take no more they'll change their immigration policies to more conservative ones but will have a huge future demographic change in the future with birth rates and family reunification laws they can't remove because "muh human rights". They won't be able to deport the problem because "muh human rights". All planned.

i think its too late for leftist governements to adopt more right policies. ironically they have sealed their fate as italy has shown.

another point that rarely gets mentioned was the inevitable migrant crisis that would have eventually happened as the world turns to shit. so perhaps dealing with it now rather than later is more pragmatic.

Why don't why talk about how to help make these other countries better and improve the whole world. How can we as a civilization improve the rest of the world while also keeping our standards of living? How do we help curve the violence in these countries?

absolutely but i dont think our current societies can undertake such a task. theres alot of poverty in the world and the west will be soon joining those ranks. quietly of course.

i think it has to start within those countries, perhaps its too late. thise industries that made the west what it is. those manufacturing, farming and hands on jobs are vanishing. think of where you live, what was the prime industry thay enabled your city/town or suburb to thrive ? is it still there and if its not how does another country replicate your past success...there was a dude in another thread who said liberalism is what made california such a powerhouse. it wasnt the gold rush, farming, construction, military installations or even technology, nope it was liberalism. never mind the wealth that poured in and is now leaving.

Those people don't really care about their land.
That's because most of those countries currently hold territory that was just stolen after WW1 and WW2.
They are just temporary holding it until the boys in ''Feldgrauen Heerenkleid'' are able to take it back.
It is like America they don't care about the land and the people because they are just living on stolen land.

You don't care about how you drive a stolen car.
