Overview
I stumbled across this Bjj Gi company by clicking on a Facebook ad believe it or not. At first I was wondering if this was a real company or not, so I shot them off a quick email asking what the dilly was and it turns out they are legit! After looking over the Gi my skin started to itch and I broke out in a sweat, the Junkie needed his fix! So I ended up doing the pre-order on the black version. Zombie Kimonos is a brand new start up company and this was their first line of Gi's. Since this one landed on my doorstep, they have already started pre-orders for version 2.0 and have a rashguard out as well. The future is looking bright for these guys, but how does their first model of Gi hold up? Read on Junkies!
Pros:
- Soft and durable Gold weave material
- Nice EVA foam collar covered with rip stop material
- 6 loop bungie draw string system on the pants
- Rip stop pants with gold weave crotch
Cons:
- Fits on the large side
- Knee area on the pants felt a bit to narrow for my body type
