Let's take a look at some recent things he's said, mostly on his podcast:

He's said that Joanna is the best kickboxer on the planet, then she gets KO'd by BJJ specialist Rose.

He said that UFC 217 wasn't selling well, turns out it sold really fucking well.

He believes that if Conor was 0-2 against Diaz, a trilogy fight would still sell more than, let's say Ferguson or a rematch with Aldo. Schaub actually tried hard to explain to Rogan why that makes no fucking sense, one of the only times I agree with Schaub on something.

joe rogan is not the absolute source of truth, nor should he be. even dana. how many times did dana say shit only to backpedal minutes later in another interview? just listen and take it with a grain of salt. it's his podcast and he's just speculating/prognosticating...he's entitled to his own opinions on his show.

for what it's worth, joanna is 5x IFMA world champ, 4x IFMA european champ, 1x WMC european champ. rose is not just a bjj specialist...she has black belts in karate and taekwondo so she's not exactly new to striking. also, lest we forget, rose's striking coach is trevor fucking wittman. he's trained an extensive list of fighters and with all the film available on joanna, they game-planned around her tendencies and such.
