do you mean Rogan? I'm not talking experience competing, I'm talking factual knowledge about the sport. He doesn't know anyone in the sport or anything about the sport really.
Would you truly trust somebody oppinion on boxing who never heard of Ali or Liston? that's what Joe is to kickboxing and muay thai. he can't differentiate between good and bad standup because he doesn't follow either sport.

No, you can go find dudes at any gym that are bjj blackbelts and been doing some sort of martial arts their entire life. Doesn't mean they will be good at commentary. Same for him. He's biased, doesn't call the action and constantly says what he thinks man fighters should be doing in fights, although he has never fought. Also, let's not forget his shitty work is caused by him being drugged out of his mind. Get real Rogan fanboy, the most embarrassing kind of fanboy. I want UFC vets in that booth.

Just because someone is good at MMA has no correlation that he will be good in the booth.
Rogan importantly knows what he's talking about, is great at explaining to "uneducated" (when it comes to MMA) what's going on, and has personality/is colorful.
People mistakenly think that because a person can fight well they can comment or coach well. Not true.
And everyone is bias. You can't hear DC's, Cruz's, Hardy's or Felder's biases when they are commentators? The worst was the Gus vs Glover fight. I can't remember who was the commentators but they gave Gus the win during the walk out.

No but they have experience as to what it's like to go into a cage and put all the martial arts together, something Rogan has never done. The amount of times i have heard that dude going on about nothing and not calling the action, then in the middle of his tangent a big shot lands and he just goes "ohhhh he's hurt" Let's not forget his disgusting love and obsession with Ronda either, that's more than just bias. You are right, just because you fought doesn't mean you will be a good commentator but i'd rather take my shot on those people because when they are good, they have first hand experience. Something rogan has never and will never have. Hes sitting there arguing with a former MMA champ in Cruz as to why Maia won't throw a headkick vs Woodley because he never has historically throughout his career and then bam, Maia throws a headkick and Rogan STFU real quick because TKD is not MMA striking and someone that knew what they were watching saw what was going on . Goldberg was a joke and Rogan isn't far behind. He got hired because he basically did it for free when no one watched the sport.

He said that UFC 217 wasn't selling well, turns out it sold really fucking well.
He believes that if Conor was 0-2 against Diaz, a trilogy fight would still sell more than, let's say Ferguson or a rematch with Aldo. Schaub actually tried hard to explain to Rogan why that makes no fucking sense, one of the only times I agree with Schaub on something.
And the most recent retarded thing he said: He believes Jones tested positive because of tainted creatine from CHINA. FUCKING CHINA.
Because he thinks Joanna is the best kickboxer, it doesn't mean she can't lose.
Thinking that a show won't sell well isn't bullshit. It's his opionion.

let's get this straight. Rogan knows almost nothing about kickboxing or muay thai, but he's isn't to far off calling Joanna an female elite striker. Unlike the Darren Tills and Wonderboys of mma she actually has good titles under her resume.

Rogan has been saying crazy shit for years. He literally was trying to say one time that Machida was some kind of special super being possibly from another planet in a podcast years ago.
Joanna has great kickboxing but it's not the best on the planet. Having to best standup doesn't mean you'r immune to getting KTFOed.

Joanna is one of the best kickboxers on the planet. He stated a fact. What does her having lost, via KO or not make what Rogan said "absolute bullshit"?
217 wasn't selling the best. Another fact. Just because it ended up selling well, after all was said and done, plays in no way on the part of what he stated.
It seems your disdain for this man is clouding your facts and points. Joe can go off the hook, but not here.
