While I know this is slightly veering off topic... some people just don't care about owning another persons' body. Now, I recognize there is also a health concern, and that's a valid one. Though that's like saying I don't drive cars because I'm afraid of getting in an accident. Not wanting to drive with your eyes closed, sure. Driving dangerously... that's perspective. But however you drive, if you adhere to basic safety, whatever.
And I don't mean to slight anyone who is just generally monogamous, because that's as shitty as hating on someone who isn't. It's just different strokes for different folks. You can care for someone without owning their actions of body when it comes to sex.
Personally.... I'm the jealous type and so that whole "open relationship" thing really doesn't jive with my emotions. But at the same time the philosophy behind ownership of a person or trying to bar them from interactions they derive pleasure from.... that's just bonkers.
Requiring mutual exclusivity is not about owning another person's body.
Are you insane?
